my gf has a g35 coupe and trust me, the Z is the grocery getter. we spent like 250$ at the store then another 150$ on meet and produce at a market and it all fit just fine.

the cargo net is nice for smaller loads, but i usually just put them in the passenger floorboard (if i'm flyin solo)

grats on the purchase! welcome to the nut house! :hello:

Thanks Vipor,

That doesn’t sound too bad. I didn’t get a great look at the trunk because it was before the test drive and I was concentrated on getting behind the wheel. I was just struck when the dealer, pointing at the trunk said "it comes with instructions on how to fit your golf clubs in"!!

Bahahaha...*sigh*. This is what its come to - people taking the car to the golf course and back home to its garage to sleep in. Sad.

MightyBobo,

Don’t be sad. I think he just said that because he really didn’t know what “pitch” to give a woman. He didn’t know how to alter his usual spiel about what a chick magnet the car is. He had no idea that I don’t play golf and just 3 days earlier had gotten a $300 speeding ticket because I was caught by one of those aerial patrols. Did you know those things actually exist?? I didn’t!! I thought the signs indicating that this part of the highway was monitored by aerial police were just there to scare people!!

So have no fear, this particular Z will not be doing much sleeping.

Vipor,

Maybe it’s just a Canadian thing. I know how touchy you Americans are about your privacy *lol* It was very strange. I saw the patrol car merging onto the highway in front of me so I immediately slowed down. As soon as he was on the highway he pulled up behind me and turned on his lights which I found curious because there is no way he could have seen me speeding. When he approached my car he told me that I had been “clocked” by the plane at 141 klm. When he had filled out the paperwork and handed me the ticket he said that he couldn’t reduce the price because I had been caught by the camera. I would have protested because really, where are these cameras!!? But I knew that I had been going even faster at certain points of the highway so I figured they must really be there somewhere!!

I've seen signs eluding to helicopter patrols in areas, I've just never heard of anyone getting a ticket from one. Sucks. :shakes head:

Yeah, Ive seen the aerial cops out on occasion - not often, though. They have to set that stuff up and be ready to catch a LOT of speeders - keeping those in the air tends to cost a good amount of money :). Besides, they tend to use those white markers on the ground to gauge your speed, so you just need to make sure you aren't flying through those too fast :-p.

Or just don't speed so much, rebel!

They do, on I-10 west, and I-25 north through New Mexico, they're everywhere.
