New 2014 370z owner near Seattle
2 Attachment(s)
I just picked up this sweet new magnetic black 2014 370z last week. It's the touring with sports package in manual transmission. Interior is black as well with the nice alcantara on the seats. I have a clear mask being installed next week to protect against those nasty rock chips in the front bumper.
I traded off an older 2008 350z that I only had for about six months through the summer and a 2012 Prius. I did like the Prius, but I got tired of driving a computer appliance around and wanted something with more character! My uncle used to pick me up in his 79' 280ZX back in the 80's and I started to miss the Z experience. I even owned the 79' 280ZX for a while before I sold it to my boss, which sometimes I regret (nice classic Z!). After driving the 350z for a while, I was hooked and decided to go all in. So far I just love the heated seats, feels so good! I've been fixing up my garage with detailing stuff to keep it as shiny as possible. I've been watching all the detailing videos out there talking about two or three bucket systems, grit guards, foam guns, polishers. It's a lot of work, but I hate the idea of going through a automatic car wash and getting all those nasty swirl marks all over the paint. |
Very nice! Did you pick it up at Cambell Nelson? (plate frame). Is this a touring?
I'm waiting for my 15 to show up. |

Awesome. Nice color. Best Price on Z's...come and see me. I will beat any and all pricing in Washington State. I own a 14 Z as well.

Depends on where you go. When you see a huge dealership...think who is really paying for it. Run for the hills.

Check out Intec Racing in Kent Z Ninja. Ask for Lawrence if you want to mod your Z. I posted my dyno on my page from today @ Intec.

Clear Bra
I'm having the clear bra installed today, won't get the car back until tomorrow. I definitely believe it's worth doing as soon as you can. If you talk to any paint guy, repainting the bumper is not worth the effort. Depending on how old the car is, they always have trouble with blending the paint with the rest of the car so it looks good.
I had a 2008 350Z for a while and the front bumper was a mess with rock chips, so was part of the hood. The body shops I talked to said it would be hard to match the new paint with the rest of the car and it might look odd. Rear bumper also had some scratches due to backing into someone, you could see the license plate frame in the bumper. Kind of one the reasons I decided to get a new Z, so I didn't have the previous owners mistakes all over the bumpers and the big scratch that was near the door handle. There was also curb rash on one of the wheels, and the front bumper took a hit on the curb itself. Other than that, it was sweet car with only 45,000 miles on it. |
