Driving the daily almost full time now, Z's in the garage sleeping with about 5500 miles on the clock and it gets driven on my off days from work on short trips only for now.

Don't drive it that much now? Just the weekend ride now huh? I think I remember you saying you were getting a dd. I'm flying down to Jacksonville in October for a cruise, think you could shuttle me to the port in the Z? LOL

Well, as soon as I got home from the dealer:

Drove around a bit and played with the features, especially synchro-rev match, the voice control on the Navi, the XM radio, and control settings.
Went over to a friend's house to show off the car.
Drove more.
Went over to another friends' house to show off the car.
Drove even more.
Went out to dinner to celebrate.
Drove more.
Came home, stared at the Z for an hour or so.
Finally collapsed from exhaustion.

The whole time I should note that I didn't stop smiling. Even at dinner I was thinking of the Z and zoning out on the conversation.

I think Lone Wolf 75's day/evening would most likely be the closest match to what I envision myself doing. Though as the car will likely be ready mid-day, I have to squeeze in "going back to work" in there somewhere :shakes head:

I can almost guarantee that you will be unproductive when you go back to work. I ended up going to the dealer last Thursday, discussing the price that night, and walking out to "sleep on it." Also, the car was not at their dealer, it was 20 miles away, they were not able to get the car until Fri afternoon, and I wasn't doing anything until the next day. Needless to say, the 1/2 day I put in on Friday morning was one of my least productive days ever. I can only imagine what it will be like once you take delivery of the car and know that you cannot drive it for hours.
