What you could do to protect her for the future is get a magnetic oil plug and maybe magnetic oil sleve to keep the shavings and metal deposits from floating around in the engine.

This is the first time I'm hearing about shavings. What is that? What is a magnetic oil plug or sleeve? Do you know any good threads that talk about this? Sorry for being such a noob! I'm learning! LOL
