Umm, at least a grand. I'll sell you mine if you realllly need it.

Kidding. ;) It was in there with a couple other bits. The bag says 'guide assy - air, f r.' Dunno, it looks like a mud flap to me. Also, a front license plate mount that anyone is welcome to. I won't use it.

Good idea. :) I hope they still have the one you're looking for. I can see Capitol City from my balcony and it doesn't look like they have very much at all. They had one for a while that was loaded up. I had to watch people take off on test drives in it all day. lol

xiven 06-11-2009 12:25 PM

If they don't have it I know Team Nissan in Marietta has one as of yesterday. I don't think these are selling alot around here. If they are, then people aren't driving them when I'm on the road.

Thanks! I found a few on FB, they're kinda random though. This one has the most members.

That's fine with me. I hate passing myself on the road. I didn't make it to Team Nissan. How many Nissan dealers are around here? They're like Starbuck's.

I think I've look online at 6 or 7 dealerships. I only see my neighbor's when we leave at the same time (which doesn't happen often). I'm not sure where he got his at though. I think he got his back in March.

Windows are tinted, intakes next. I'll look around and see what everyone has done. What else? Do we have a facebook group yet?

Welcome to the forums :hello:. Can you post picture of the chin spoiler?Because EVERY Z comes with a thin long air dam/chin spoiler. The spoiler on the sports package is two pieces. I didn't install mine because roads here are not good.

How about some pictures of your car? :pics: :excited:

We have our own facebook account. I'm using a computer with firewall that blocks it. I'll post later.

What they told you is correct. It's part of the sport pkg, so if you don't have the sport pkg., they shouldn't have put that front spoiler in your car (hence my 'freebie' remark). But you should be able to still get it on. Just because you didn't get the sport pkg doesn't mean the mounting holes aren't there. Indeed, I'd be very surprised if they manufactured a different front fascia for cars with sport pkg vs. those without, as it's more cost effective to just make one.

These other bits -- are they two little mud flap looking things? Same color as the chin spoiler? Because there are actually two little air dams that mount in front of the front wheels, and they come with the chin spoiler. The front aero bits actually consist of three separate pieces.

Congrats on the car. It brings lots of smiles, the harder you drive it the bigger the smile.

Random is right. Judging by the number of high school kids I would say only a small fraction are actually owners. Need a 370Z Owners group.

You sure about that AK? I'm pretty sure the front chin pieces (3 total) only come with the SP. See the screenshot below I just took from the nissanusa spec page.

That's the one I was talking about. It comes stock with all Zs. Maybe dealer got lazy and didn't install it.

semtex 06-11-2009 01:06 PM

Actually, if I remember correctly, that lip in your pics is part of the front fascia. Like when you pull the front fascia off (to install intakes), it comes along for the ride.

Edit: the pic below shows my car with the front fascia removed. Notice that the lip in your pics is in front of the front bolt holes for the undertray. In my pic, you can see those holes, and see that there is no lip attached in front of them -- that's because the lip is attached to the fascia.

I agree. It's going on.
