It was either a Camaro, Infiniti G, or Z, guess which one I went with??

OF COURSE THE Z!!
So after having my Z for a little less than a week now I finally realized I made the best decsion!! Before buying my Z I was also thinking of the Camaro, and Inifniti G37 coupe, however, the Camaros interior was a turn off for me, and the G seemed like a more luxurious version of the Z, but was lacking the extra lil sumthin the Z had ;) even though there was lil hesitation before now I have no regrets whatsoever about getting my Z and im loving everything about it!!! :happydance: anyone feel the same way? and if so any cars you were comparing or thinking of getting when purchasing your Z? |
:tiphat:
beautiful car and wise choice my friend. Welcome. |
Nice choice!!
I test drove the camaro, evo, sti, g37, genesis coupe (bc the saleman told me i couldnt afford the z :gtfo2:) some pickups, wrangler. The Z just had something to it. it was small, light, had a lot going on on the inside. just the right type of car for me! :driving: |
Good Choice! I also drove a Camaro, 5.0 Mustang, 'Vette, RX-8, Audi TT before deciding on my Z. I agree on the Camaro's interior.. yuck..
|
Congrats!! For me it was between the Z, sti wagon, and g37. I was very close to getting the sti since it was more practical and I have to deal with New England winters. However, I couldn't stop thinking about how I felt the first time I saw a 370z. My heart still skips a beat every time I see my car.. it's amazing. :icon17:
Besides.. being 22 years old is the best time to be impractical isn't it? |
Congrats on getting the ugliest color!:ugh2:
:bowrofl: |
Congrats! For me it was thinking about the M3, and CTS-V. M3 has way too many glitches and problems associated with it, and the CTS-V isn't enough of a sports car although it is a real beast. Also, if I went with the M3 or CTS-V, I would have had to get them slightly used. Instead, I placed a full custom order for a brand new Z (fully loaded).

Nice color, I love the Red and Black Cherry in the Z.
After so many test drives of multiple cars, a sports car is not about running 12s in the Qtr Mile but the feel of the thing. Very few cars in the price have the solid planted feel of the Z. |

All you need is a set of Dark Wheels and tint
|
Welcome to the Z forum! You made a great choice just a nice set of wheels, tint, and a drop makes this car the perfect car. I'm not sure the chrome trim is the best touch for a 370Z but if you like it that's all that matters.

Yeah good call with the chrome trim, that stuff needs to go ASAP. Not sure what they were thinking with that.
I would also look into a clear bra for at least the front bumper, so you keep that paint free of rock chips. |
excellent choice...before buying my "ZZZweetheart" I considered getting a BMW 335is, G37s and even a used porsche 911. Thank God I chose the Z. No regrets!!!!
|
I was between the Camaro challenger, and the Z when I went to the Chicago auto show and sat myself inside the Z I couldn't think of anything else that day. My cousin kept walking to see other cars I stood there for hours love the car couldn't ask for anything else awesome choice=)) congrats

as for the chrome trim was checking it out today and in person it does give a distinctive look, however, when it is time for it to go I know that it shouldnt be much of a problem because it peels right off, its just I have to do it carefully so that I dont rip off paint with it. Quote:

congrats man, and just fyi that chrome trim on yours doesnt come with the Z, sounds like something the dealer added on to make the car more "attractive" hehe. In any case though good choice, i know im anxiously awaiting the delivery of mine within the next 2 weeks :D |

Huh?? You must be talking about an 03-04 E46 SMG M3 and the first gen CTS-V.. E90/92/93 DCT/6MT M3's are solid... The CTS-V Sedan/Coupe/Wagon are on a completely different level, 556hp stock, it's closest competitors are ///M, AMG, RS - All monsters! saying the new CTS-V isnt enough of a sports car is hilarious!! OP, Great choice from the options you had! I just purchased my Z as well and cant get enough of the Synchro-Rev!! |

Oh and as far as the M3 goes, I have a friend that had a 2010.....he had so many computer clitches that he spent more time waiting in the shop for his car than driving it! And check out the forums/reviews......lots of problems, and high maintenance costs. I'm not saying its not beautiful car, but I speak the truth.......not the car for me. |

Congrats! For me, it was G37S, 335 coupe, Evo X, and 370z. Ultimately, I realized that being a college student, I don't need to/like to give people rides (especially in those 4 seater coupes, people kick the front seats to get to the back..). I also loved the feel and the instrument gauges of the Z.
