I did quite a bit of research across many vehicles; TT, Camaro SS, Mustang GT, G37 and of a course the Z. Beyond the manufacturers sites, I really utilized the forums for these automobiles to assist in my decision making process, so I did spend quite a bit of time on this forum reading post after post and I really like everyone's candor and the number of meaningful posts.
So, Sunday afternoon I picked up a brilliant silver 2011 370Z Touring with the sport package in a stick. I don't want to start another war of words regarding transmissions, but I was sorely disappointed with the 7sp auto, even with the paddles, it simply took the 'sport' out of sports car. The 6spd is just incredible, the difference in the car's personality is night and day, the car is a beast with a 6spd. With that said, the car is killer and I am having a blast while averaging 8.5mpg. Yeah, I know... the break-in period.... pics to follow.
