I will take a nav vid tomorrow. Anything in particular you are especially interested in seeing?

To be honest, I would love a little of everything, like the gamut of status displays for HVAC, audio, nav, and what not. Some text-to-speech and voice control would be great to. The other biggy would be your opinion on the accuracy. My current Avic F90bt is useless with frontage roads in Houston so i constantly have to keep an eye if I miss an exit. But that really doesn't need to be filmed and you may/may not have a appropriate road handy. Ipod or CF slot maybe?

I mean, you don't have to run through EVERY display/function, but certainly the ones you would frequent/play with, and to get an idea of the speed/response time. That's another area where my f90bt falls on it's face.

Cheers mate!

travisjb,
Appreciate the invite and I would love to attend but I have not tracked yet. I do plan on it with the Z so I am going to sign up for driving school. That looks like a great event. Hope to see you at a future event. Keep in touch on the AZ thread with any happenings you hear of.

Congrats!

I can see why you couldn't wait any longer. I had to wait two days and I was ready to lose it, in those 48 hours.

This was my 2nd color option (out of 3 colors I submitted to the dealer). If they were not able to locate the blue, I was going with this one.

Very nice color! Love all the pictures. Here's one of my favorite:

Thanks AK. That one was at sunset so it is reflecting the reds from the sky and creating the pinkish hue. PG is very fun to photograph since it really reflects light interestingly. I like that one as well but wish the saguaro was did not have the bracing and the new building was being constructed. They just starting to develop this office park across the street from my neighborhood. Worked well for pics since there is no traffic yet.

par4,
do you know what that lever on the driver's seat(center console side)
is for?

thanks

par4bmw 03-02-2009 10:33 AM

That is the lumbar adjustment. Only has it on the driver's seat.
