Default NY Z - Zoe

Disclaimer: No pics yet, coming soon once this freakin Monsoon passes.

I have been a frequent visitor to this forum for a few months now. I originally thought that I would get my Z in August/September of 2009 but I was unable to secure a job after college as quickly as I had hoped. I made it through the winter with my 93 VR-4, that I really have kept in amazing condition, and finally after the new year, I got a great job offer. I have been at my job for a few months and somehow managed to hold out on purchasing a Z till I was convinced we arent gonna get much more snow. So now its mid-March and Im finally ready to buy. I contacted dealers all over Long Island, some in New Jersey and to my great disappointment had alot of trouble finding a base with sport package, my desired ride. I was on the verge of either ordering one or asking for a dealer swap, but I was convinced I could do better. With the advice of some on this forum, I contact some PA dealerships. I located a black base with spt at RothRock Nissan in Allentown. Over the phone they enticed me enough with a great price to drive out there today (Saturday March 13th) with my father. To make a long story short, I made the deal.
I have to commend RothRock Nissan. Up to this point I had not heard of them ever, but their service, honesty, and professionalism was the best I have dealt with. Tom Russel did an outstanding job. To give you an idea, I walked out the door, all fees and charges included, for under invoice. Let me tell you, the 2.5 hour drive home was a pleasure!
One more shoutout to forum member Robert Nash for the VPP hookup, you saved me alot of money!
I will post pictures as soon as its dry enough to take a camera outside!

To answer Steve370's question, I was quite surprised how well the car handled in all this weather. At the beginning of the drive I was a bit tentative and thought Id have to keep it around 45mph. Anywhooo when I started to feel more comfortable it I was a bit more daring and yes it handled great, no problems whatsoever.

congratulations man, too many people get frustrated because they cant find a car within their city limits, sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do, like i've said before, if you want the car bad enough, you'll get it, you just might have to work for it. Now get some pics up ASAP bud!

Congrats Patrick on the purchase of Zoe -- on both the new job and most importantly the new car. Sounds like you got both a good deal and what you wanted. Now if you can just get thru the break-in period...<grin>

I came up with the name Zoe for the car, just in case some people were excited about another potential female Z owner haha! Hey, I know I think its hot when a girl drives a nice sports car.
My name is Patrick, and thanks for all the comments guys.

Great Pics! Looks like you guys got the worst of the storm -- in the D.C. area we just mostly got a crap load of rain. Congrats again on the new Z! Now get workin on the break-in miles.....

The 150 mile drive home from the dealer certainly helped, but from this point forward I am gonna have to work for those break-in miles. I take the train to work and get home relatively late so I am planning on going for a 15 minute drive every night when I get back. As for the storm, yeah we got it pretty bad. The area where the tree in my album came down lost power completely for the day, luckily where I live was just outside the affected area.
