Congratulations! The 370 is a huge upgrade!

Plus you got a 2020 model? You would definitely enjoy the car!
Come join us to next year Zday. If the covid19 would permit us to have it.

What type of modification you intended to start with your Z?
My first mods where the intakes and exhaust then came the wheels and list goes on.

You can look at the thread Best picture of your Z thread and you get good inspiration there.

Very nice looking car you had there  did you get into another one?

As for mods I'm researching an exhaust set up and contemplating coils vs springs, on the 350 I was running a good set of lowering springs that did the trick fairly well for what I do, and an HKS true dual exhaust that I wouldn't mind trying to replicate the sound of. Plus tint and a ceramic pro coating if those count.

I was running coilovers man...I tell you its like once you taste black you don't go back! Sorry dude I do have a disorder for toilet humor! Ask the degenerate forum guys in here.

If I would re-do it again I’ll go for Meistercraft exhaust. I believe that is the best sounding exhaust for the Z. I do run an ARK high flow cats and ArK titanium tips exhaust back then..,the sound is sweet and solid.

Thanks for the warm welcome all, went ahead and ordered everything to swap the interior to all LED (something I don't understand why manufacturers aren't already doing?) and a new Alpine ilx-w650.

Also have her booked for a ceramic pro coating tuesday followed by getting tinted up Friday :D

Small update but think I've decided on the motordyne shockwave exhaust if i can source one out up here in the north :p the only listed distributor is sold out currently so we shall see

Zoren 370 05-31-2020 04:58 AM

Motordyne is not bad at all.

Enjoy your Z just don’t make a running list of your mods with prices... you youd say F*ck What Have I done!!!

My mods are much more than what my cars worth when I sold it.

I think that goes for any hobby though, I lost my *** on mountain bikes, paintballing, gaming pc, cars the list goes on and on

Not sure if anyone can chime in but didn't get a massive response in the exhaust section, I love the sound of the motordyne but not sure I can pull the trigger on 3500$ for a catback, does anyone know how it compares to a HKS hi-power or the greddy evo gt? or any reccomendations for others to look into? Been listening to just about every clip in the audio thread and have narrowed it down to those 3. Theres no Z scene near me though so its hard to get an accurate idea of how any of them compare.

3500 on a catback is just too much when the Z needs other mods, such as you will eventually sooner or later have to get rid of the stock clutch slave cylinder. I started with a base model and upgraded to the '13-'14 Nismo Rays wheels (see my thread in the photos section) as they are wider and have more grip. The base model needed more grip on the front end. So far exhaust wise, I've put in Fast Intentions resonated high flow cats since I want to keep the car on the quiet side. I replaced the cheap base stereo with a Kenwood eXcelon head unit, added an amplifier, and replaced the speakers on the dash and in the doors. I like listening to music and don't want a loud exhaust anymore- been there, done that. I would consider the Nismo R-Tune exhaust- true dual front to back and a pretty good value relatively speaking.
