Doesn't that supposedly help with throttle response or something? I don't seem to have a issue with that as of yet

It's not necessarily an issue, but if you drove a Z with Sprint Booster or a tune, the difference would be very apparent. I've got a tune, and the contrast in throttle response is night and day.

Oh yeah I know throttle response increases a lot with a tune but I going to go FBO before I get my EcuTek tune

Just have to get my F.I resonated test pipes and stillen gen 3 intakes and my mishimoto oil cooler than she will be ready for tune

There are much better choices available for oil coolers, such as Z1, Fast Intentions, and Stillen. Just my two cents.

Agreed. Mishimoto is garbage. Buy literally anything else.

Wow didn't know they were bad in the Nissan world. Are the other oil cooler direct bolt on? Even if it's not it's not s big deal. But that's what I like about the mishimoto cause it was direct bolt on

All of the other ones listed are direct bolt ons as well.

And if you're going to end up with a boosted z later you should skip the mods for now. You'll just end up selling most of them. Just get the oil cooler and cat back.

Well it's going to be boosted but it will be a good while before I do it. I want to damn near pay it off before I really boost it. The amount of these turbo kits is thru the roof.

Yeah, just about everything for the Z is expensive, comparatively speaking.

You ain't kidding. 10k+ for a turbo kit is crazy. But I get that theirs two of everything but damn. And then the stillen blower kit. 8k for that is for sure on the high side. For it to barely make 430whp. I just come from a different backgrounds (Honda) so I'm adjusting

Plus the other $5k in supporting mods you need along with the kit. It's not a cheap project.

Not at all.... So it will be a while before I go boost. But it will happen for sure. It might happen faster if I go single turbo setup because I can do the install myself. I'll be happy with FBO and tune and a set wheels for a while
