Modded 40th Anniversary - New Owner
Purchased an excellent conditioned 40th Anniversary a couple weeks ago. Super stoked and having a blast after coming from a complete stock 350z. Also a new forum member but have been lurking for a year or so.

Beautiful Z...my favorite color and best, looks mean and menacing.

Almost bought that car. Guy backed out on our agreed price 2 times then raised it in the ad the next day. I could've gave him what he wanted but after 2 times of those business ethics he wasn't going to get a dime from me. Congrats, love the car!
|
Thanks all. Enjoying every second of it.

As you probably already know these members will take care of you man. I got my 40th 6 months ago in January and I'm looking to give it my personal touch :) haha. Hey guys a little off topic just wanted to know if you could help out real quick. Could anyone tell me what this little container next to the brake fluid is for?

If im not wrong that is the clutch fluid container
|
Ok sweet but it says to put in brake fluid though? Is that right?

Z1 370Z / G37 Stainless Steel Clutch Line I have it on my to do list as soon i finish other things first :) |
Could you tell me what your experience was like with this upgrade? And how is it better? :o

Does it really make a big difference? And what part does it replace exactly?

Well i dont have it installed yet but im going to do it as soon a finish some upgrades first... well starting for the fluid is a lot better than the oem that our cars have from factory... the line... well i have a friend that installed on his car and he tell me that he dont feel a lot of difference with the line but the thing is that our cars early or later are going to have CSC problems ( I hope that not happen to me but we never know )... and i think that I read here in the forum that with the clutch line some of the members can resolve the problem when the clutch pedal goes to the floor.... Anyway is a simple mod and not pricey ;) and if you have plans to change the clutch fluid why not do that mod too  For more info hit the link that i post... they explain the reason for change them or just do a little search here on the forum ;)
|
Fer sures hahaha I think it was a little late for me my clutch gave out and just sunk to the floor and well now she's just a sitting duck :( but if in the future it'll help then it's probably a nice investment haha but which hose/line does it replace? Is it at the bottom where the transmission line is at where you purge it or is it up higher where the little container is at? Well assuming you know haha X) sorry I'm bombing you with questions :p

Oh I yeah I totally saw that while trying to purge the car haha ok :) I get it now and I assume it's still recommended to insulate it right?
