That was a great "not your typical TV show" twist with her and her decision towards the end of season 2. Did not really see that coming.

Winter is almost here! I have been so flipping excited the last two weeks for season 6 I have been playing the GOT theme song in my head continuously and I haven't gone insane yet!
To prepare for tonight I re-watched season 5, and I have to say that "Hardhome" and "The Dance of Dragons" were probably the finest TV episodes ever IMO. This is partly due to them being the climax of the entire story arch both in the show and the books, but the scenes with Shireen either with Stannis or Davos were absolutely heart-wrenching. Sansa's wedding night was a terrible occurrence, but the sacrifice to the Red God by Melissandre is absolutely the most horrible death and scene yet. The Social Justice Warriors that want to use the show to somehow advance their retarded agenda can just bugger off. Short-term and long-term predictions: - Dany and the new Khal will team up and return to Meereen thanks to Drogon. - Davos will kill Melissandre which will lead to the resurrection of Jon Snow. - Rickon will be the Ruler of the Seven Kingdoms by the end of the series and books. So Drogon and Ghost are tied as my favorite characters followed closely by Tyrion. Enjoy the season premier tonight! |

Crazy right?! But cool if it happened. |
^ this is actually my prediction as well. John is a targaryan

did anyone else think that john was going to be reanimated into a white walker since they left his body outside over night at the end of season 5? That was my first thought but I am really hoping for the tagaryen theory too.

I know right?!

Mixed feelings: glad Jon is back, mad it happened in such a cliche and predictable way, bummed and wish it happened as epic as my theory, glad to see Melisandra admit she knows nothing lol. Tyrion with the dragons though guys... bad ***.
|
I also wanted to see a more grandiose resurrection, but just having Jon back is a good thing.
Tyrion and the dragons and Bran being back is pretty awesome. Unless I am misinterpreting the preview, next week we actually get to see Rhaegar in the flesh! Very intriguing. It can't be said that Ramsey is not a man of action. Good luck with the wildings + Jon Snow + the Night's Watch + The Red God! So far a very strong start to Season 6! |
This show is off to a terrific start. I'm hoping the Daenerys and Arya story lines pick up a bit, but I'm loving everything else.
