I gave up on HBO, pretty much just watch what I need to watch when it hits iTunes and can be downloaded. The first season was very well done. I'm not willing to re-subscribe to HOB just for this one show, instead, I just downloaded the first 5 books. Really excellent. I'll pick up season 2 when it's available on iTunes next year, but the books are very well conceived and well-written with a lot of subtlety added in the narrative that can't be achieved on the TV show. Really fleshes out the characters quite well.

Episodes not coming fast enough! Went to Amazon and bought set of the first 4 books. Started first one already, and really like it. IMO, books are always better than the movie.

First two episodes of Season 2 were a little slow, IMO, but Episode 3 started to pick things up a bit. I'm looking forward to seeing if Tyrion's plotting can save the Lannisters.
