I know most of the characters have evolved a lot, but he sticks out in my mind as the most evolved.

If he had evolved he would have 3 hands...I say he's devolved by one hand.

Is it just me, or has Tyrion become less interesting of a character? Ever since he became pussy-whipped by Shae, he just bitches and moans and gets berated by his father and has nothing witty and funny to retort to anyone. He used to be my favorite (and I'm sure of many others) but now I don't think that holds true anymore. I'd say Daenerys is the most interesting character to me at this point.

Dany or Jamie have the most interesting storylines for me the season. Bran contnues to be the least interesting.

Bran as a character has always been weak and boring. But I'm somewhat interested in seeing what his raven-dreams lead up to. I struggled to come up with a less interesting main plot character, but I'm giving up and going to agree with you that it's Bran. Theon Greyjoy was a close call, but given the last episode and the ****-tease we saw, I was thoroughly entertained.

Danny is an interesting character, but don't jump to conclusions on any character, ever.

Except Bran. Bran is boring. :p

Bran is pretty consistent in his boringness. Do not expect it to change. Even thought he is relevant from a macro and background standpoint to the story, the few minutes he gets here and there are enough to know what is happening.

As far as Tyrion goes, he is one of the best characters in the books, but even he has to give way a bit to let the rest of the world move forward. Think of it this way, he was always overshadowed by his brother, and berated by his father. He grew when they were both away. Now that his father is back, and brother might be, he will probably have to take a back seat again. But you can't keep a great character down for long.

Have you read the books?

( Click to show/hide )
I mean seriously, everybody whose read the books knows Tyrion is a BEAST.

Heh, I thought it would be pretty obvious from what I said. But I don't want to give anything away, no matter how small, to the people who haven't!

Arya, Tyrion, and Jaime are probably my favorite major characters in that order, so far. But that's based mostly on reading the books that exist to date. The TV series still has a ways to go unfolding some of these stories. Dany's pretty cool too, but starting right about where the TV series is now, her storyline starts to drag out and get repetitive a bit. We still don't know a lot about what happens with her in the next two books, so who knows.
