Fringe

Anyone else watch this?

Wife got me hooked on the latest season, and I have been watching the older episodes to catch up.. it's a pretty decent show!

Waiz 03-10-2011 12:31 AM

Never missed an episode!

Well written and suspenseful and I would recommend it to anyone.

Im actually watching the last 3 episodes of season one tonight... as we speak...

wife got me hooked. and it's kinda of funny watching the older episodes knowing what I know...

Waiz 03-10-2011 01:14 AM

Lucky you, its tough to wait for new episodes but you already have them in lined up.

It gets alot better!

MC 03-10-2011 01:47 AM

its one of the best shows on right now and the only sci fi show thats even watchable..... loved season 1... season 2 struggled a little and they had a few too many case of the week episodes...but it seems lately and more so in season 3 they have stayed with the main story arc better and established a mythology.... i hope the move to friday doesnt kill it... they need atleast 1 more season i think the wrap it all up.. i really like the characters now 3 seasons in and that what seperates it from alot of current shows out there..

last weeks subject 13 even reminded me of and was as close to a episode of lost as i'll ever see again

:iagree:
this show is a mind f*ck
i also hope moving it to friday doesnt kill it...but with more and more people having DVRs nowadays, it shouldn't since DVR recordings are counted in the ratings.

I like the two Olivia's conundrum.... lol
that's why it's kind of cool to be watching the 1st season, after having seen season 3.. i know whats going on, but there is a lot of information that I didn't know that makes the current season more relavent, but also knowing this season makes the past episodes make more sense.. something like that.. yea

MC 03-25-2011 12:53 AM

Isamu 03-25-2011 08:08 AM

man, last weeks episode was :excited:

Cmike2780 03-25-2011 08:42 AM

This is one of my favorite shows, the first season especially. I like this season's over here/over there story arc tied in to the weekly story arcs.

Subject 13 was an eye opener, but I hope they show how it led to Walter's lobotamy and explain why everyone doesn't remember each other in season 1. We also havn't seen the Observer's in a while.

xdeslitx 05-07-2011 02:20 AM

MC 05-07-2011 06:49 PM

but not sure where they are going about the revelation about peter...not sure exactly how to take what the observers said

SmoothZ 05-07-2011 07:22 PM

 Stop spoiling it!

I've been watching the show since it came out. I've saved the final episodes for this weekend.

I like to watch all episodes of fringe. This is the most entertaining show who ever made.I like to watch it.

Waiz 10-10-2012 04:23 PM

Bump for Fringe talk!

I am so ridiculously confused with the current direction of the show, I don't think anything makes any sense anymore lol

My biggest fear is that this will be the nail-in-the-coffin for the show since whenever I have seen shows take such a dramatic turn in story it normally means the production run is over :(

I think they've already said that this was going to be the last season. I love this show and I've seen every single episode since it first came out.

It is the final season. They announced it last year. We will only get 13 episodes total for season 5 so enjoy it while it last. It's a different story arc but within the same universe. It will basically explain the Observer's role and wrap up the series. The parallel universe thing is pretty much over and done with since this takes place further into the future. I kind of like the change though, and the chick that plays the daughter is pretty hot.

coltrain 10-10-2012 04:37 PM

I've watched all episodes and seasons of Fringe. It's definitely a cool show. Sometimes its hard to follow though lol.

Any of you guys check out the show Revolution? Also made by JJ Abrams.

I like that show too so far.

Yeah that's right, I forgot

Don't get me wrong, I have never missed an episode just not as into the current storyline as compared to previous seasons.

Daughter is totally hot and reminds me so much of the Olvia character.

Yeah definitely hard to follow at times but I often rewind stuff to try to grasp it again.

Dammmnnnnnn dude! I can honestly say that no show will ever beat the awesomeness of lost. I got hooked on it so badly and I only jumped in midway through season 4. I started watching it from the first episode during summer vacation and was watching it for 16+ hours straight almost every day till I got caught up. It was that good.

That's what I'm worried about :icon17:

I went on a bender last year and watched 8 episodes straight of Homeland when I was sick at home

I saw that Science channel had a 1st season marathon so I recorded all of them and half way through. It seems pretty interesting so far. Walter is the most interesting character so far...

he is pretty kooky!

Waiz 11-26-2012 01:17 PM

The new season has been all over the place but the recent episodes have been fantastic

I'm not sure if Peter is one step ahead of the Observers or being led into a trap but it's going to be a cool to see what happens next

I haven't watched a single episode... lol

wife and I need to watch last couple of episodes from last season

Only six episodes until the series is over :( It's going to be interesting how they wrap up the whole series with so few time left. I'm enjoying the season so far, but plot progression has been a bit slow. I like how they are bringing back some of the "cases" or fringe events from throughout the series and making them useful. I really liked the parallel universe thing, but it got boring after a while.

Definitely seems like there's an exciting finish coming to the series.
