Dissapinting episode to be sure. I can't even really muster up any real positive points about it. I guess the tractor running over the car was kinda neat in a hold my beer NASCAR kinda way.
Even Forbes Magazine felt need to weigh in on it, which seems way out of their element. But hey they are allowed to like a tv show too of course. Forbes Welcome |

His GOT reviews are usually pretty good. |
So I caught the episode last night...meh. They need to start picking up the pace and start making moves. That WHOLE episode was to say "Hey were gonna stay here, and you cant do anything. Oh btw shift of power". Did we need a full episode for that small plot point? Yea yea yea, okay there was also the childhood romance story. So that should've filled another 10min (or none at all in my opinion). All in all that episode shouldve taken us 20-25min...

The Walking Dead writers insist on focusing solely on one part of the separated group each week, dragging out plot points longer than they need to and leaving the rest of the characters' story arcs stagnant. |
I wish they would use the fact that Alexandria is not far from DC, and the rest of the compounds would be within 20 miles or so. An episode of going to DC and full of zombies on the monuments or in the subway would be great.

Yeah, getting to see some urban mayhem is one hope I still have for Fear the Walking Dead. They've already gone from LA to Mexico, and they're headed back towards California.
I understand the logical reason for staying away from heavily populated areas, but it could make for some really cool episodes. |
Plus they never have winter. It's either spring or summer.

Boring episode about Tara....
|
I think my expectations are finally starting to level out after the premier. This episode wasn't any more exciting than the Carol/Morgan episode, the Daryl episode, or the Maggie/Sasha episode, but I found myself enjoying it more.
I think seeing Tara again was refreshing, since we haven't seen or hear from here since last season. Seeing Oceanside, which has only been referenced in the comics so far. It'll be interested to see how they use them later in the season. Tara kept her mouth shut talking to Rosita, but I don't think that'll last long. |
The notion that Oceanside just "ran away" from Negan and were never found by him, is stupid....Once again, if New Alexandria is in Virginia, which it is....then Oceanside would be....oh about a three hour drive from there to get TO the ocean. I suppose Oceanside could be nest The Chesapeake bay someplace, or on the Potomac River. So Tara walking that far all alone with dead everywhere? Not plausible.

idk... every week I get my hopes up... every week TWD decides it wants to turn me away from the show.
She aint gonna keep her mouth shut long. The f*ck we even meet the Oceanside crew if theyre not gonna be involved. |

edit: hear to here cause Im retarded |
I agree with you all the way. Most shows lose direction after 6 or seven seasons anyhow. Sort of like the Brady Bunch bringing cousin Oliver on the show.....
