Although I think we are going to start to see a different side of Rick. He was just told how he is an awful father/husband, he killed his best friend, his son pointed a gun at him and saw him murder his friend, oh and there is a zombie appocalypse going on. Gotta think this is going to start to get to him.

Hard to believe the "other camp with 30 people" isnt going to show up soon. The kid said they were 5 miles from the farm, and there have been multiple gun shots. They have to start coming soon.

I'm not doubting or arguing against their choice. I was just hoping his character would make the corner and start coming back before going the way of the dodo.

Meh. I am unconcerned with how close to graphic novel they stay. They are on record as saying they want to go their own direction and tell their own story (while remaining faithful to the feel). I basically expect them to use the major event points like the farm and prison, etc with those important characters as well but spin off into their own story.

And it probably would have been difficult to give Shane the type of death I wanted, but I was hoping for something like another bus incident where Shane could save Rick this time and make the noble sacrifice. Especially since we know he would have left Rick the first time had their roles been reversed.

I know what you're saying, but the last thing I personally wanted was to allow Shane to die with any type of dignity. He just didn't deserve that IMO.

I did not like the beginning of the show. But Season 2 is so amazing. Its very very interesting. And I like it.

To each their own. I'm curious if any/how many other major characters we lose next week.

You didn't season 1 or the beginning of season 2? Because the 2nd half of season 2 feels very similar to 1 IMO.

I am betting he is talking about the first half of Season 2 before the break. It was very slow with them searching for the little girl each week. The second half has been great and the finale looks like it will be insane. Can't wait for next Sunday!!

But the prisoner showed no symptoms like Shane. On another note AMC is charging cable companies 50% mark up for the cost of airin their channel. I have suddenlink and they're trying to negotiate with AMC. But AMC is being stubbornnand basically saying pay what we want or you can't air us!!! Wtf
