Just saw it. It was pretty good. I'd recommend seeing at the theater.

Just saw it, terrible movie, but I can't complain about the 370 showings.
Worth going to the theater only for the 130% capacity parking lot with more than a few highlights. |
Saw it last night, was an enjoyable movie but it has moved away from being a 'car' movie to an action/drama movie with nice cars in it.
|
Yeah its not really about street racing anymore. And was "dodge?" a sponsor of the movie?
|
i saw it loved it

I did see them talking about the cars and saying that they have to pay for their cars.
|
Interesting that their was a 370z and it was from AE. Also, that black NSX is so clean!
|
The NXS scene was actually the end for Fast 4
|
Great movie. I really like the fight scene.
Did you guys stay a little after the credits started to rolled. They might be be making another. |
Yup. You need to watch pass the credits.

Just saw it about an hour ago. Not bad. One of the better ones in the series. It certainly lost a lot of the cheesiness. It was a a great action movie and pretty good for the genre. The sequence with the safe was pretty cool to watch. I really don't understand people who go in expecting academy award story telling and acting, only to come out disappointed.

I guess they have made some good money of the F&F movies... But eventually every movie sequel will come to an end. |
p.s anyone who works with biometrics alot (finger scanner on laptop doesnt count) can you elaborate:
If a device is set to scan your right hand, will making a "copy" of the left hand work to fool it... from my work with it it shouldnt, unless he had his left hand scanned into the system also. (which they could have in the movie and just didnt show) |

In truth, dissecting truth from a movie is useless..... A freefall from a ravine in the opening sequence for instance, would kill you or at least break some bones. Water is like concrete from that height. If an intellegent though enters your mind while watching this movie, do yourself a favor and let it go. You'll enjoy it better. |

You left and right hands and finger prints are not mirror images of each other so even reversing an image won't work.

hahaha^^ :bowrofl:
enjoyed it a lot. thought the action sequences were really thrilling for a change. wish there had been a tad bit more about the cars but not too much. overall i liked it and will probably see it again in the theaters. will definitely buy it when it comes out on blu ray |
So how cool was the z that was in the movie? And how long was it in for.
|
the silver "AE Performance" 370 had about a minute of screen time roughly (agreed?) and it looked pretty cool in it's scenes but it wasn't really featured much...

All the others were quick snippets of them driving them around a bit and that was it. |
yea i think that's one thing that was kinda missing from this one, there wasn't/weren't any "hero cars" like the 2G eclipse, red FD, and orange mkIV supra from the first one.
|
The vintage skyline got a lot of screen time compared to most the other cars.

Jamaica. Too bad your vented fenders weren't available for this movie. They look much better than the fenders the Z had on

This movie already made nearly 86 million in one weekend. Pretty big numbers. Probably will be the biggest until the new Transformer movie comes out.
