That building is totally useless, but awesome at the same time. I hope to visit one day.

awesome pics! I have really enjoyed my visits to Dubai. I'm switching back to a smaller plane now, so I fear I won't be back for a while.

I read somewhere that because of the design of the building, the top 30 or so floors are tiny (and useless).

The pictures make it look so nice. I personally thought it looked very awkward and out of place though. I didn't see it 100% complete, but it was almost done...

G37Sam 01-21-2010 07:28 PM

Oh you should see it now!

They have those beam projectors keeping that place lit just so nice!

theDreamer 01-21-2010 07:35 PM

Sam, do you have any distance shots (night or day)?

There you go!

Not sure I can get any better pix, that thing won't fit in a pic without having a wide lens and a stand lol

So being here everyone enjoys seeing pictures of this building and such, but what do people there think of it?

frost 01-21-2010 07:52 PM

That thing has businesses as one would expect, but don't people have like, apartments in there as well?
