I'm not sure if I'm doing this yet, but wanted to get you thoughts. I was thinking about getting my rims powder coated. I cannot afford to get new rims and thought this might at least get me started on the look I'm working on. 1) Anyone have experience with durability? 2)Anyone have suggestions on where to have it done?

dixon cider 12-10-2011 09:01 AM

I have a guy in St. Peters that can do it. If you need, let me know. The ones that I have seen look really good.

Jasonle 12-22-2011 11:20 AM

sfearl1 12-22-2011 12:14 PM

I carpool with my gf on crap days. I have the option to work remotely if I have to so a Z works well for me. Definitely not for everybody though... keep saving up that va-ca!

Jasonle 12-22-2011 12:38 PM

Haha i wish i can carpool with my wife but she has a G35s sedan that's rear wheel as well. Hopefully no snow!

StLRedrider 01-05-2012 01:32 AM

dixon cider 01-05-2012 10:03 PM

When my battle in court to see my son is over. I fvcking hate my ex.

StLRedrider 01-05-2012 10:47 PM

Sounds good bud, sorry to hear your having problems

dixon cider 01-05-2012 11:11 PM

Thanks. It is what it is though. That's why I haven't been on the boards much since late summer. Until it's over, I will be a hit and run here.

Yeah with the weather in stl the last couple of days I've had the bike out! Can you still ride at all with your hip? How's that doing anyway and how are those awesome dogs of yours?

Dixon that sounds like a real mess. I'm sure something like a drive in that supercharged Z could help a little right

I'm good thanks, I just had my other surgery a month ago. After all is said and done I will def be able to ride. The hounds are good thank god its nice out so there out all day.

How you been, haven't seen u around here much? Still have the z?

haggomyeggo 01-06-2012 01:39 PM

Yea I've been busy and my company blocks this site from my computer at work so i didn't get on. I finally saw they got the tapatalk thing running for the site so I can use my iPad and my works wifi....go figure

Still have the Z but she is in the shop. The steering wheel lock thing failed so I'm waiting on a part. I'm driving my dads surburban but I might get the Buell back out this weekend of it stays nice.

Glad to hear your doing well

white370j 01-11-2012 12:55 AM

haggomyeggo 01-11-2012 09:06 AM

We here. We need a meet but I haven't heard anything lately.

Anyone from the IL side see a white Nismo around. I saw it last Saturday night in Swansea?

Last year, I went to the Cottleville St. Patricks Day Parade (It's a SMALL town near O'Fallon MO) and the Corvette Club was one of the Paraders as well as the Viper Club. Would anyone be interested in maybe trying to get a Z group into the Parade? It could be any year Z. The Parade is only about a Mile and a half long, maybe two and I think it is only around $50 to enter as a group. I could cover and if people want to throw some cash my way to help it would be appreciated but not necessary. Thoughts anyone?

haggomyeggo 01-11-2012 09:52 AM

Dixon you still flying out of chesterfield airport? My buddy works for the Blues and he is always out there picking up teams or flying out with the team

Jasonle 01-11-2012 10:06 AM

I might be interested in that parade thing...let me know more details!

sfearl1 01-11-2012 10:11 AM

+1 for parade - I can get at least four more Z's, possibly five ;)

haggomyeggo 01-11-2012 10:48 AM

Oh yea I might be able to get one other Z plus me

sfearl1 01-11-2012 11:03 AM

what's the date for the parade so I can rally "the crew"?

keb370z 01-11-2012 03:53 PM

Hello fellow St. Louisans! I'm new here. Got my Z last February.

I see a lot of 350s around but not many 370s. And a lot of the 350s don't give my Z a second glance. I'll pull right up next to them at a light like Heyyy!!! and they're staring straight ahead, paying me no attention. What's with that? :)

Anyway, :hello: Good to be here.

F'ing haters man....

Welcome to the stl area. There aren't a ton of 370s but the 350s are everywhere. Even one of my best buddies has one.

Oh and we are usually kinda bad at meets but hopefully we get better this year

What color/options is your Z?

keb370z 01-11-2012 04:07 PM

Whoops should have specified. I'm new to the forum. Been in STL all my life. Grew up in South County, moved to the city for about 10 years, now I'm back in South County.

I have a Monterey Blue 2011. Manual with the sport package. All I've done is tint and audio upgrade. Here's my post about that with some pics.

haggomyeggo 01-11-2012 04:10 PM

Sweet man. I love the blue. Mines red but I would have taken either color.

keb370z 01-11-2012 04:29 PM

I flip flopped between red and white for a month until I saw a blue 350 in a parking garage and KNEW I had to have blue. :excited:

Jasonle 01-11-2012 04:56 PM

welcome aboard!!!

white370j 01-11-2012 09:58 PM

Welcome keb.
