Won't have the car until May.

haggomyeggo 04-01-2011 03:36 PM

Wayne when i read everything thats transpired in the last 48hrs its crazy. I would be much more upset than you seem via messageboards at least. I hope everything works out in the long run. What Z06 were you looking at?? new one where you can get the magnetologi-whatever shocks or an older one?

haggomyeggo 04-01-2011 03:37 PM

you can drive mine if you want...i means its not SC or anything cool but if you want...haha

dixon cider 04-01-2011 03:53 PM

I'm trying to contain it until it gets sorted out. If I get pissed now and everything is fixed, then I got my blood pressure up for nothin. I will save it for when I need it.

dixon cider 04-01-2011 04:35 PM

Yeah, a new one if I go that route. The only thing that sucks about a new one is it puts a huge dent in my funds to buy an airplane.:shakes head:

Are you driving back to CO or do you live locally now?

I have about 260 hours. Commercial pilot,w/ Multi-engine & Instrument ratings.

I did my private at Langa Air in Bethalto, IL back when I was in High School. Actually Solo'd before I could legally drive to the airport. It was kinda funny. My mom drove me there and I flew by myself!

Went to SIUC and got my associates degree in Aviation flight (all the ratings) and then transfered to SLU to finish my Bacholers in Aviation Management. Now I work for Lambert Airport in their Operations Center.

I need to go flying. It is just really cost prohibitive.

Driving back to CO. We'll spend part of the day in St. Louis and then head to Memphis, then west.

What time? I think I might actually be available.

haggomyeggo 04-09-2011 08:43 AM

met my first stl area 370 driver. what up ej:hello:

ill get that:pics: up as soon as i get a chance

you can tell a real Z driver b/c they can still randomly meet at a really sketch gas station at 130am and act like they have known each other for years. This is why I love cars and car people.

Hope we get that drive in with red on sunday

FuszNissan 04-12-2011 11:30 AM

Just pull in playing stunt man and sit on your hood.

I am trying to make it. We will see.

daleks 04-15-2011 12:32 AM

So I'm moving to STL in late Summer. What do you guys do in the Winter months, just park the Z's? My soon to be wife will be driving the other car so I may get a beater, but having three cars will just be excessive...

I'll also need to know the name of a good local dealer. :stirthepot: I kid, I kid.

Also, does anyone in STL ever ski or snowboard at Hidden Valley? I'm tempted to get a season pass now while it's cheaper, but I don't know if it's worth it.

Only if you like skiing snowboarding on a sheet of ice. You have to go on the day they make snow or it all gets packed down and it like an ice rink. Not like real skiing but fun once or twice

My car is a DD so I will be putting snow wheels and tires on the Z when the time comes again

Wisconsin isn't bad. I've been up there a couple of times. I don't remember the name of the resort we go to but it's a closer drive than CO. Not as serious mtns as CO but still alot of fun for the casual person.

The Midwest is pretty flat. You can come wakeboarding or waterskiing with us sometime if that will make up for snow. I like the lake better anyway

Ah. I'll have to look into WI. I knew of the flatness! I had heard of some ski places and didn't know if they were worth it or not. A friend of mine is from Iowa and he learned to snowboard on landfills.

Who is still hitting the cars and coffee tomorrow. As long as it's not pouring rain I think I am going to go. I need to get my new Z stiff from Lou anyway.

Lou are you still planning on making it??
