Looks like my steering lock failed in my garage. My car is aired out completely. No idea how to get this fixed now

O no sorry to hear that. I keep forgetting to remove the fuse for the lock, I really should before mine decides to fail as well.

What year is your z pat? Do you know What revision Your lock is?

I have a 2009 and have no idea on the version, I have to check the build date of my car.

1st thing i'm going to do before I pay for the new one is bang it with a rubber mallet and see if I can get it to work ( wish me luck ).

If that doesn't work, i'll have to install the new one and pull the fuse......should have done it before storage

You have first one (revision a) revision a and b (ehat i have) are basically guaranteed to fail. C is hit or miss. D is only a couple known failures.
