Jon, at Loko, is my cousin. We worked something out for price. Not sure how much they charge for the intakes. You'll have to ask him.

I was planning to go this year, but started planning it way too late. Basically, for anyone interested in going one of these years, book your cabin/lodge the day zdayz 2014 ends

My buddy and I will be heading down this year. We are staying about 25mins from the resort at the Marriott in Knoxville (hotel points so it's free). If anyone else is going, let me know, we can caravan together.

What a gorgeous day. Z will be the 'errand' car today :excited:

Part of the idea is to stay in the cabins...that's where the real fun is ;) :happydance: :nutswinger:

I may consider going with you guys. what date are you leaving/coming back

Yeah, that's where all the partying happens, so we'll miss out on some. We're ok with that though. We're heading down with the goal of driving the tail because it's something we've both wanted to do for a long time. We'll definitely partake in the daytime activities as well. Plus free Marriott room > those cabins

We are planning on leaving Weds night (maybe early Thursday if I can't get back to town soon enough). Then we'll be making the trek back on Sunday. It's a lot of driving, but it's one thing we'll be crossing off our bucket list!

b15 04-11-2014 11:50 AM

Although, if more people end up going to Branson Z fest, we may just push our trip back and go to that instead. Both look equally fun, and Branson, MO is 2 hours closer.

yeah, we'll probably end up heading out early Thursday for that reason. Makes more sense.

I was going to book a hotel this weekend. If the Marriott is only 25min away I'll end up there too. Hopefully there are still some rooms.

I was planning on heading down 5/14. This way I could dedicate a whole day to driving and not be whipped on 5/15. I may end up leaving the event on 17th of Saturday because my buddy needs to work on Sunday.

I've already paid for my pass for Zdayz so I know I'm going. It's only a matter of where I'm planning on staying at this point. I'm going to check on rooms at the Marriott tomorrow.

I'm going to leave Battle Creek, MI in the morning between 9am - 10am on the 14th.

I'd love to go to ZDAYZ in N.C., but can't get off from work those days.

On the other hand, I am very interested in going to Branson Z Fest. Anyone else interested here?

Hey Jim, you interested? That would be a good way to stretch your BP Z. Maybe you can make it there 1/2 hour before the rest of us......;)lol.

Here is the link for 2014: http://www.bransonzfest.com/

Berk HFC/CBE Combo - Rattling Noise

I installed the Berk CBE one year ago in April 2013. I just installed the Berk HFC's this past Sunday 4/13/14.

Upon start up right after installation, I noticed severe vibration and noise coming from underneath the car. Upon further inspection, the Mid Pipe was was barely resting on the Cross Member. I adjusted the Mid Pipe so there was additional clearance from the Cross Member. Started her up and all was good with the world.

Man, these these things are off the charts. The sound, acceleration and pull is fantastic. I'm really impressed with this setup.

So flash forward to today. I start up the Z and I could hear a slight ringing. I gave it some gas and the vibration was back. I took it out for a little drive and the vibration noise was back in full force. It was there upon acceleration or deceleration, not so much when cruising. Once warmed up, the vibration sound disappeared. So it appears this vibration happens when cold.

So I drove it home and took a look underneath again. Everything appeared to be really tight. Clearance from the cross member was sufficient, or at least from what I can see. I checked all the hangers from the Mid Pipe back and again everything was really tight.

I'm perplexed at this point and do not know what could be causing this. Looking for guidance from this forum if anyone else experienced something similar.

I would get under the car and double check the cross member clearance. Also check to see if any of the heat shields are loose.

Ken, sounds good. Let's get 2014 off the ground an running. Let us know details.

As far as ideas, how about a ride to Long Grove, IL.? We can meet perhaps in Schaumburg and then all drive to the Village Tavern for Lunch and Beers? Weather permitting of course.
