Lunch at Arthur's Deli in Dixon, IL next Saturday (closed on sundays)?

Much shorter (~200 miles). We'll stop by the Byron nuclear power plan, Lowden park to see the Chief Blackhawk statue. Nice overlook of the Rock River. Route is similar, but we continue S on 2 all the way to Dixon.

Maybe stop by Niu's Algeld hall?

I'd love to but I have a prior commitment that Saturday. I'll be there in spirit though!

:) No worries.. Probably get rained out or cold. We'll just keep pushing it back until a good day.

Btw thanks to the group having the confidence to follow a complete stranger for some 300 miles! Ever since getting the gps some 12 years ago, nearly every ride (cruise) has been meticulously planned out, including 'scheduled' stops. Have never run out of fuel on 2 wheels or 4.

Today would of definitely made for an unusual road trip... Time to mount the snow tires back on.

osbornsm 04-29-2019 11:13 AM

RIGHT?!? Holy snow-trip!

I like the idea of the 2-hour drive.
The 450 was too much for myself, other opinions welcome.
