Of course, keeping fingers crossed for an early Spring. Mid/late March would be nice. Either way, it's getting closer. Looking forward to meet in early April.

I decided to wait until late Spring early Summer before tinting windows. Want the weather to be warm full time in order to properly cure the tint.

hope everybody enjoyed their long commute yesterday :p

I actually had one of the shortest commutes ever. The was no one on the roads at all.

I left work at 9, took me about the same time...nobody was on the road.

I let at 4:00, but I went from Whiting, IN to Bolingbrook, IL. The snow south of the city wasn't too bad, and they sent all the contractors from the refinery home around noon.

I took train into city for bulls game after work then back home at 11 pm and roads were empty. :tup:

I called the main resort and was placed on wait list. There are 30 people ahead of me on the list. The resort also gave me four other hotels in close proximity. I haven't contacted them yet. If your interested, below are the numbers. I don't the name of each, the woman at the resort went through them quickly.

BTW, the cost at the main resort is $74/night at the main hotel and $85/night for a one bedroom cabin. Not bad. I am on the waiting list for either room.

Ordered the Berk CBE and according to FedEx, it should be here this coming Saturday 3/9/13.

My daughters boyfriend is a mechanic which of course is a big help. We will be installing the CBE on Sunday 3/10/13.

The Berks now have Round Tips which is my preference. Can't wait.

Anyone enjoy the foot of snow we received yesterday? Their calling for above freezing temps for the remainder of the week and into the 40's on Saturday and possibly 50 on Sunday. Lets melt this **** already, not to mention good weather for installing an Exhaust.

But I he wanted me to be a member of windy city Z club that is how you get an article you need to be affiliated with a Z club so I told him about chicagoZ waiting to hear back from him lol.

Alright, I made some calls. Results as follows.

828-479-8464: Number is no longer in Service.
828-479-1251: Left message. So far no call back.
828-479-6772: Microtel. Located approx 30 minutes from Fontana, NC.
Has rooms available from 5/15/13 thru 5/18/13. Rates are $67/night for regular room and $76/night for suite.
828-479-8450: The Appalachian Inn. Located approx 30 minutes from Fontana. Only a couple of rooms available. Rates are $130/night for regular room and $150/night for a suite.

Not really interested in staying 30 minutes plus away from the festivities. Will wait and see if room/cabin opens up at the resort. If not, there is always next year. In addition, there appears to be other events to consider. Looking forward to Chicago meet in early April to start off with.

I will if he emails me back, But I think he wants the cars he has in the magazine related to the clubs that are sponsors for the mag. I know ChicagoZ isnt a sponsord group but I am hoping he has at least heard of it lol.

So guys its official I'm going to zdayz 2014. I could never make it because of work but with my new job I'm more flexible in may. To get best cabins people start reserving in June lol. Who is going to come with me?? I think I would go there tue/wed - Sunday/Monday. First and last day are travel days.
