Doubtful. I would love to, but I need to be back in KC by 8 or so that night and will be gone from that Saturday night to the following Wednesday.

And hopefully my car is completely torn apart by then :excited:

When is Sasha sending you your kit?
I'm hoping to have mine in the mail to Tony by the first of the month but probably closer to mid November. Plus the new Zele rear shows up on Monday and then I'm off to Iowa/Minnesota.

All of the stuff that comes from US distributors shipped this week. He's probably a couple of weeks out on the rest. I'm guessing I have everything by the first or second week of Novemeber. Everyone else on the list backed out so its just me and he's gonna finish mine up and get it out as soon as possible so could be sooner. Fingers crossed.

Who in Kansas City has had their headlights modded? I am thinking about doing it but since my car is DD it'll be hard for me to find a time for it. I have looked into FlyRyde and ONEighty. Any preferences or suggestions?

m3chhawk 10-15-2013 09:40 PM

ONEighty did a hell of a job with mine but one is starting to get foggy. If I had to do it again, I would do it myself. I did the lights on my 350 and it's not bad. You could even have a local body shop spray them.

Gilianz 10-15-2013 10:33 PM

Yeah, I was thinking about that but I want to add the LED rings plus some other things... I'm not great with wiring so I don't want to do it myself.

m3chhawk 10-15-2013 10:39 PM

Then I would definitely recommend ONEighty. You are looking at 3 day shipping, 2 days in their hands, 3 days back. I think shipping was $40 each way.

Gilianz 10-15-2013 11:13 PM

Hmm, Okay. Doesn't ONEighty say that the lights will not fog or did i misread that?

m3chhawk 10-16-2013 07:16 AM

Yeah, and they cover them under warranty for a year. I will probably send them back when my car is torn down in a couple of weeks. But I imagine I'm still on the hook for the shipping so I have to decide if it's worth it. It actually looks more like lense abrasion than fog. It's weird.

i may try and do mine myself if you are having issues with yours. something about baking my headlights makes me nervous

sums it up real well

It's not as bad as you think. I was terrified when I did it the first time, but just follow the DIY's and keep your eye on them. I've seen the same abrasion/fog thing in a set that was DIY as well though.

Haha, are you talking about my lights??? haha it is there barely but m3chhawk noticed it before even i did. I did my lights by myself as well and you can do it over a weekend starting friday night paint it and put it back together by sunday. Baking is the most terrifying part, but just put lens up in oven and you dont really have to worry about melting anything as long as it doesnt touch in the oven.
