Sadly those days are over with the bar codes and machines that scan them. It kicks out non-michigan cans. There are not too many mom n pop places that return them anymore. Usually you could return l$5-$10 at a time to them. Now there are machines at the big stores that scan and then crush the cans. Spits out a receipt with the payout and cashier can give cash or take it off grocery shopping bill.

Did you over look the M134 while you was peeking? :inoutroflpuke:

Okay, I've managed to snag a 6 pack of Boulevard Wheat, their Cherry Lime Radler and a 12 pack of assorted from the Weston Brewery. Hopefully I can get some Ad Astra & Cloud Hopper from the brewery in Lawrence, but cans are tough to come by and bottles don't always travel well.

JAR might have to share a seat with the rifle.... I'll have to pull the BCG so he doesn't shoot himself.... :shakes head:

Cigar list will include

CAO Moontrance
CAO Eileen's Dream
Graycliff G2 Pirates
Assorted Ghurk's
Don Rafael White Gold
Alec Bradley Sweet Creams
Assorted Macanundo's
Man O' War Armada's (for those who like heavy smoke because they're $20 sticks)

Susan is going to be grabbing some assorted beer from FX Matt brewery and Copper City brewery which are local here. I told her to grab a few light things and a few heavier IPA's.

Upon arrival, we will probably make a Meijer run to pick up a few racks of ribs, a chicken, some steaks, etc. I'll abuse Madwi's smoker for that stuff and sous vide the steaks.

Susan may just be uncomfortable in the passenger seat riding shotgun with all the cigars and beers.

I've ridden shotgun with a shotgun before. I can handle myself :tiphat:

You gonna have room for me to bring some clothes? I was planning to bring a small suitcase lol

Zoren 370 06-29-2020 01:07 PM

This sounds like gonna be an interesting meet...who brings the polaroid film?

Zoren 370 06-29-2020 01:09 PM

Is BettyZ coming?

Who will be brave enough to check if he/she has two wankers or in a bun?

I should. The rifle could go behind the seats with some of the beer. Cans take up less space than bottles. Worst case, I'll have to roll up the shade in the back.

I should have a box of pellets around. If not we can take a short trip to Hermann's Boy in Rockford. You guys would love that shop and I need to stop there to get some coffee beans for JL.

Keeping in mind that MSP shares the desire of all Michiganders to shoot out-of-staters in the azz [with lidar] I fixed a busted laser doohickey and almost finished installing on rear bumper.
