Ok so my flight options on Southwest are whack. I booked 6 different flights on different days to try and make something work. From what I can tell there's only 1 flight going into Grand Rapids from the most reasonable connecting cities on most weekdays. More available on the weekends, but nothing that around that weekend cause July 4th (there are flights on the 4th but not much before or after).

Anyone driving up from or through the Chicago area want some company on the drive up? I can be in Chicago around 10 am on Wednesday. The other option is 6 pm Thurs  Although if I wind up taking the Thurs flight to Midway I will probably stay the night and take a Fri flight into Grand Rapids that gets me there around 6 pm.

I'm driving through Indy, I'm leaving Thursday around noon-ish and I'll be in Indy about 6 hours later. I'm trying to avoid Crook County.... :ugh2:

Indy airport an option?

I can get there around 2 pm with a connecting flight through ATL. It's way more points, but I'm just gonna go ahead and book it. I can cancel any of the flights (as long as it's 10 minutes prior to boarding or before lol) and get my points back immediately.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep you posted on what my final plans look like over the next week or so :tiphat:

Btw... those boxes already shipped. I meant to send you tracking info, which I will text now

It is possible that it will be. But I decided, and Kevin strongly agreed, that it was not smart to make the trip a deadline to have the work done. Rushing things only adds risk. And one of the dumber things I could do would be to rush a bunch of work under the hood and then immediately turn around and take it on a 1900 mile road trip.

You know when planes break down most often? Right after their annual inspection and maintenance :eekdance:

Thanks for the offer :tiphat:

Unfortunately, Southwest's only Ohio hubs are Columbus and Cleveland.
