I'm headed to DB performance in Rogers, Mn next week. I've heard very good things about Dynosty in Louisville. CJ Motorsports in Chicago is in process of becoming an ECUtek tuner. Those are the three I know of in the region.

Here's a thread from when I asked about a year ago. There are some suggestions in there that should at least get you started.

UPRev Tuners in the Midwest region?

I can't remember, did you say you have ECUTek or UPRev? Do they have much experience tuning boosted Z's?

I currently have uprev and decided to keep it for now. I didn't want to give up datalogging and reading/clearing my own codes, and using my current license vs switching to ECUtek turned out to be quite a cost difference for me. DP Performance has experience with boosted Z's. I'm actually going in on Monday. I'd be happy to update with results.

So, quick update.

Went to DB Performance on Monday, and I have nothing but good things to say. Very professional, knowledgeable, and they have a nice dyno (dyno dynamics load control dyno). They took their time, and I got a nice, solid tune out from them. made 440hp / 359tq on my Gamma V3 Turbo kit. They took a very terrible base tune and cleaned it up, making the car feel much better. I need to update my build thread, too, at some point. But yeah, I would definitely recommend if you live in the region!

What did it dyno at before the tune? Do they tune with ECUtek as well (I can't remember if I asked you that or not).

Peak was about the same, but overall it's a much cleaner tune. Apparently there was a fair amount of knock that they could detect on the base tune that's all gone now. Also at peak we were losing fuel pressure which was messing with the AFR's, got that cleaned up as well. I think if I want to hit the 500 mark I need a return fuel system. They can do ECUtek, but since I already had a license for Uprev, I decided that it would be best to stick with that for now. It was a $450 difference to tune ECUtek vs Uprev, and I just can't justify that right now.
