These are the Spawn pieces, right?

I think a review is in order, just so others understand what they are getting, maybe it is a one time thing (similar to Caravans wheels), but the more who know.

I admit I'm torn on this one.....I really do like Spawn and John has really been great to me. This will bug me for awhile......*sigh*!

Well a review does not have to end in you recommending them or saying they are bad, just point out all the points.

~Wait time
~Price
~Quality
~Customer service
~Install
~etc.

Yeah wow, that looks like **** man! Taillights look nice! ;-)

zZSportZz 10-23-2009 09:46 AM

Those tails are really really nice.

Pillars are...nice too...but the fitment doesn't seem right :)

Exactly right. There is a slight bend in the OEM pillars to match with the flow of the car.....it didn't appear to be in there. Sigh.....I'm rather irritated....to think, I put all this money into my Z and now this last mod messed things up. :icon14:

Man, I'd just go get the original ones on. That CF stuff starts to make these things look too Ricey anyway.. ;-)

I'd think John after seeing the pic you posted for everyone to see would agree that the product is not up to snuff and they'd offer to take them back and refund you the cost in order to maintain a good reputation for taking care of loyal customers. Those things should fit like a glove with no gaps whatsoever considering you paid good coin for them and for all the other mods to AIR SMURF ONE! But Hey!!! Those JDM Tailights are the SHAT!

If it isn't raining tomorrow morning I'm going to haul it up to Fairfax and get a Gi-Hugic Mocha! Anyone else gonna make it?

m4a1mustang 10-23-2009 05:49 PM

I have to go in to the office tomorrow morning for a while so I'm a no-go. Stupid audit!

That blows for sure! I hate working on weekends.

2theextreme 10-23-2009 10:04 PM

Anyone know what these are? I found them after the install yesterday @ Altered.

http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...e/DSCN1362.jpg

Found the one on the left in the passenger side front floor....just below the glove box and found the one on the right behind the passenger seat after sliding it fully forward. Any ideas?

I'm actually in Pittsburgh this weekend - as an early birthday present to my Dad, I'm taking him to the Steelers vs. Vikings game on Sunday. Also showing off my 370Z to my uncle, who was once an owner of a yellow 1969 240Z. He says thus far he's impressed, and thanked me for keeping the Z heritage in the family.

ZCarMan 10-24-2009 09:28 AM

So I haul it up to Fairfax with rain threatening all the way up from Stafford. However, no rain the whole way up! Get to Starbucks, park in the same spot as before and head in for my Mocha. Sat there for a good half hour just enjoying my Mocha and people watching. It never rained the whole time. Then I start the trek back and wouldn't you know, it rains pretty much the whole way back! Just light rain and luckily I avoided the crazies. We'll have to plan something in the near term so we can all get together again. I realize that for some its quite a haul so think about some middle of the road places and times that work for everyone and lets plan to get together.

2theextreme 10-24-2009 09:30 AM

Dang...just now getting a chance to get on here....my aunt's Mustang had a flat and I was helping her with that today. Hopefully we can do something before the end of the year....even if its an actual sit down kinda thing like Annapolis.

ZCarMan 10-27-2009 08:13 PM

Well the extended forecast says it will be sunny this Sunday. Anyone interested in trying again?

 Yep, I saw that....looking good so far! I'm up for it.

2theextreme 10-29-2009 11:12 AM

Thursday check......still gonna try this weekend?

ZCarMan 10-29-2009 05:10 PM

I'm in for Sunday morning, but should we shoot for a little later? maybe 10AM? Maybe some others will wanna come on out. Its tough for some as they have to get up pretty early to make it over, provided they can. Either way, I'll make the trek up for another fine cup of Joe and if anyone else makes it then great.

m4a1mustang 10-29-2009 05:58 PM

I'm a no go for Sunday.

ZCarMan 11-01-2009 02:02 PM

Rain Rain Rain...I hate this rain.

MightyBobo 11-03-2009 11:54 PM

Im good as gold for this weekend, but its gotta be soon since I need to tear into the Z and get the new oil cooler put on ASAP! Friday or Sunday would probably be best for me, plans this Saturday.

2theextreme 11-04-2009 04:48 AM

I'm willing to give Sunday another go.....anyone else?

m4a1mustang 11-04-2009 06:12 AM

Sundays are never any good for me.

Friday bad, too? Everyone always wants the weekend, but after work for din din is always solid on Fridays for most heh

ZCarMan 11-04-2009 07:32 PM

Saturday or Sunday is good with me. I heard the weather guessers saying it was going to be sunny both days although cool.

Steve, not to jack the thread, but how are you liking the FI CBE? I don't recall seeing anything about it from you posted? I'm just curious.

ZCarMan 11-06-2009 05:54 PM

Okay, so the weather is gonna be sunny no rain so anyone up to trying again on either Saturday or Sunday? For me either day is good. Just want to see if we can get more than two people together. If not, no problem but just trying to make it work for as many that want to get together. 9, 10, 11AM? I'll be headed up to Fairfax regardless as I haven't had the Z out for a couple weeks and I'm dying to go for a drive. So its all good if nobody can make it.

2theextreme 11-06-2009 08:06 PM

I'm out for Saturday, unfortunately but I might be able to do Sunday. I'll check back to the thread and see if others want to try, too.

Well I need to try to install my oil cooler this weekend (which for me is Sun-Tues), so if we do it Sunday, make sure we come up with something fast lol.

ZCarMan 11-07-2009 07:16 AM

Sunday's good with me. What time?

6-ish would PROBABLY be best for me, if we're doing dinner, but I can be flexible if it cant be done. Or any time around lunch time is good, too.

Are you up in Baltimore? I see that on your info. Perhaps we could meet up at National Harbor? Lots of restaurants. Tony should be around soon to weigh in as well.

2theextreme 11-07-2009 08:14 AM

Today is out due to getting things ready at the house for when my grandmother gets home. Tomorrow....is possible but wont be able to know for sure until this evening. Depends how much we get prepared at the house. I'll keep ya updated as best I can. ;)

I'm in Stafford. Tony is taking care of getting his Grandma back home and understandably, that will impact his schedule. I'm just gonna take a drive up to Fairfax to Fairlakes circle and hit up the Starbucks at about 10AM and if anyone wants to stop in great. Its an awesome morning outside! If not, we'll continue to shoot for another time to get everyone out.

Here is the address for the Starbucks:Google Maps
