Yes, it's right there. I'll be there again this year, sponsoring again too

Ryan@Forged 09-22-2009 12:58 PM

I'll be there with the entire Forged Performance staff as usual :)

Ryan@IP 09-22-2009 01:55 PM

Can't wait! There is also a "Z-Fall Dragon Run" later in October this fall for anyone who wants to hang out before May :)

ZDayZ - Eat, Sleep, Z

With that much time ahead to plan I think I could do this.

2theextreme 09-22-2009 07:04 PM

After seeing how much fun tooohip had.....I think I'm down for this too! Also would be cool to meet some of the sponsors on the board!

I'll be in one of the cabins with a few coolers of my favorite weekend beverages! http://finelineracing.net/forums/Smi...fault/gulp.gif

Mike 12-11-2009 02:57 PM

We are inthe cabin next to the big firepit

tooohip 12-11-2009 03:25 PM

Oh and by the way, there's only a couple cabins/rooms left, so get your reservations in now. There's other locations to stay if it's sold out at Fontana Village which is the place to be, but try to get in at Fontana. I'm sure there's floor and a couch available in my cabin if you need to pass out there one of the nights. ;-)

ZCarMan 12-11-2009 05:24 PM

Just made my reservations for a 1 bedroom cabin. The lady at reservations said she had only two more of the 1BR cabins left at the rate of $109.00 per night (20-23 May). They do have about 40 rooms still available at the hotel. The number to reserve is: 800-849-2258.

SAWEETTT!!!! Party on wayne!

PapoZalsa 12-13-2009 10:00 PM

I'm going this year, I miss last years because my daughter's HS graduation.

BTW, I'll be going by myself, if anyone wants to share a room LMK, that way we can save some cash for beverages.

2theextreme 12-14-2009 08:06 AM

I'm in, too! :woot:

:shakes head: I know...I know. I'm just glad I made it in @ Fontana. I took the cheapest they had....$89 a day at the lodge. Good enough for me.

Now....the big issue....get The Smurf back to looking good!! Maybe even matte blue......I'm so considering it, it hurts! :icon17:

I'm guessing all us Mid-Atlantic'ers can meet up and drive down together?

Tony, you do what you gotta do to get the blue beast ship shape. Then we can all caravan down as Lance mentioned. Where is Steve? Haven't heard from him that he is going!

zZSportZz 12-15-2009 09:16 AM

Not sure what the plans are...when do we plan on getting into town and leaving if we do caravan? I want to make my reservations today.....

Should I just get a room for the 20th, 21st, and 22nd? Or are we planning to head a day in advance and leave after the last event? What nights have you guys booked cabins/rooms for?

I booked for May 20th thru May 23rd and leaving on Sunday, May 24th. I got just the one room lodge for $89/day. Good point about heading a day in advance...dang...didn't think about that when I booked my reservations. If we do, I'll need to add another day or sleep in the Z! :icon17:

zZSportZz 12-15-2009 09:31 AM

Well my thinking was that it's a long trip there, so do we need an extra day in advance so we don't miss any registration deadlines, etc.?

Yeah, I had no idea NC could be a 9 hour drive.....Ugh! :icon14:

tooohip 12-15-2009 10:03 AM

If I recall last years even stuff didn't happen until the night of the first day. We should already be registered before we even head down so you shouldn't need to worry about missing that.

I plan on leaving early Thursday morning and heading down. Yep, 9 hours or so. ;-)

tooohip 12-15-2009 10:07 AM

Yeah here ya go:
http://www.zdayz.com/events/Images/z...9_schedule.pdf

That's last years schedule. I assume the layout will be similar at least for the first day, so if we leave at 8:00 AM, we get in around 6:00 PM. If they require onsite registration, we can just do that Friday if we miss it Thursday. I know you register ahead on the site, but I guess we still check in or something when we get there.

zZSportZz 12-15-2009 11:52 AM

Reservations complete....I'll be hanging in the lodge with Tony =)

ZCarMan 12-15-2009 03:44 PM

I can only imagine the pictures we can get with all of us cruising down the highway.

HKYStormFront 12-16-2009 11:59 AM

really looking forward to this event. for those of you reading this thread that haven't been before, ZdayZ is probably THE best Z event there is and i highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. plus the fun driving some of the roads in that area, some of the best roads in the southeast

pulpz 12-20-2009 07:56 AM

I posted a few pics from the 2005 Mid West Caravan. About 20 Zs altogether.

Nissan 370Z Forum - pulpz's Album: Platinum Graphite 2009

I'll be staying in the Lodge as well. There are a few rooms and cabins still available. They'll go pretty fast after the first of the year.

I'd definitely like to cut across through WV from Ohio - maybe I'll catch up with you guys on the way down.

PapoZalsa 01-15-2010 04:25 PM

Got a room in Fontana Village!
