I'll be in one of the cabins with a few coolers of my favorite weekend beverages! http://finelineracing.net/forums/Smi...fault/gulp.gif

Oh and by the way, there's only a couple cabins/rooms left, so get your reservations in now. There's other locations to stay if it's sold out at Fontana Village which is the place to be, but try to get in at Fontana. I'm sure there's floor and a couch available in my cabin if you need to pass out there one of the nights. ;-)

Just made my reservations for a 1 bedroom cabin. The lady at reservations said she had only two more of the 1BR cabins left at the rate of $109.00 per night (20-23 May). They do have about 40 rooms still available at the hotel. The number to reserve is: 800-849-2258.

I'm going this year, I miss last years because my daughter's HS graduation.

BTW, I'll be going by myself, if anyone wants to share a room LMK, that way we can save some cash for beverages.

:shakes head: I know...I know. I'm just glad I made it in @ Fontana. I took the cheapest they had....$89 a day at the lodge. Good enough for me.

Now....the big issue....get The Smurf back to looking good!! Maybe even matte blue......I'm so considering it, it hurts! :icon17:

I'm guessing all us Mid-Atlantic'ers can meet up and drive down together?

Tony, you do what you gotta do to get the blue beast ship shape. Then we can all caravan down as Lance mentioned. Where is Steve? Haven't heard from him that he is going!

Not sure what the plans are...when do we plan on getting into town and leaving if we do caravan? I want to make my reservations today.....

Should I just get a room for the 20th, 21st, and 22nd? Or are we planning to head a day in advance and leave after the last event? What nights have you guys booked cabins/rooms for?

I booked for May 20th thru May 23rd and leaving on Sunday, May 24th. I got just the one room lodge for $89/day. Good point about heading a day in advance...dang...didn't think about that when I booked my reservations. If we do, I'll need to add another day or sleep in the Z! :icon17:

Well my thinking was that it's a long trip there, so do we need an extra day in advance so we don't miss any registration deadlines, etc.?

Yeah, I had no idea NC could be a 9 hour drive.....Ugh! :icon14:

If I recall last years even stuff didn't happen until the night of the first day. We should already be registered before we even head down so you shouldn't need to worry about missing that.

I plan on leaving early Thursday morning and heading down. Yep, 9 hours or so. ;-)
