OK, I have a question... Why do you put the Scotch Blue tape on the car while you are puffing and polishing? I tend to roll over my edges with the buffer. Should I be putting tape on it instead?

i have a friend with a ZR1 who swears by it and it does look like water after he's done. LONG process but apparently worth it.

Do you know the 228/210 intersection? Well, I was taking a left on to 228 from 210 which is slightly uphill and she was behind a few vehicles in a line waiting to turn left on to 210 (essentially crisscrossing each other). So I didn't notice her until I was basically right next to her and by that time I would need a supercharger for my windows or a new rear end because folks are relentless when it comes to getting home here in SMD!

Depending on the cutting pad and compound with a DA buffer it can mar up the finish on your window trim, plastics, etc. It's more of a safety precaution than anything just in case the buffing pad hits those areas on the car.

Plus it also prevents the compound from getting lodged in all the cracks and crevices (which is a PITA to remove)

Most sealants for paint are pretty similar, so it's all personal preference. Some are pretty easy to apply (meaning you just let it air dry like the Zaino Z-CS) or some you need to buff off.

Never used it personally, but if they have a small bottle and have a testimonial from a close friend who's used it before... I say give it a shot and see if you like the results.

Working on the paint with the DA buffer and doing some correction is kinda therapeutic for me. Listen to some tunes and make her shine

I use Adams Polish system... It works for me...

The front of my car looks like it has been sand blasted due to the crap that nissan puts on the cars that they call "Paint" I have never had another brand of car look like the sloppy bucket of $hite that my two Zs looked like. The 370 is worse than the 350 if that is possible.
