The one in the video has blacked out handles....the one from last night still had the stock color.

We went by the location of the accident today during lunch and you can see shredded tire and guard rail damage......ouch!

He said they had to be going at least 100 mph past him and did two 360 degree spins before hitting at a solid 60 mph.

Could it be the elusive red 370Z with the Amuse kit? Hmmmmmm.......

Uh Oh first day back on the forum after long break and this is the post I see first :icon18:. Yesterday had to be a bad day for someone with a red Z with amuse kit.

He lives right down the street from me..
I let you know if I see his Z while I'm driving around this week.
I don't remember it having the Amuse wing the last time I saw it.

Luckily that wasn't the one who wrecked. And, I got a little more info....seems he was trying to catch (race) a 6 Series BMW.

A 370Z trying to race a BMW 6 series? Sounds like me and my cousin :p

Of course when we do it, it's only for scientific purposes to compare linear acceleration data. :icon17:

PLUS you keep a pretty model in your car as part of the testing to study the kinetic energy generated by the flying/stretching silicon/bewbies you produce in your lab. You my friend are one cool dude. Carry on!!!!

Speaking of crashes, did anyone hear about this fatality involving a 2011 370Z owner?

Ellicott City man dies after car hits tree, overturns
By Timothy B. Wheeler, The Baltimore Sun | December 11, 2011
An Ellicott City man died early Sunday in a single-vehicle crash in Howard County, police said. Jong Han Lee, 32, of the 300 block of Bethany Lane, was killed on Old Frederick Road at Weatherstone Drive when the 2011 Nissan 370Z he was driving left the road, struck a tree and overturned, police said. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The crash is under investigation, but police said speed appeared to be a factor.

"Partially ejected" Being crushed to death by your own car.

Quality control testing. I'm an engineer and I must ensure that our product is held to the highest standards. I test each and everyone myself personally to ensure that the customer will enjoy it.

I'll never understand not wearing a seatbelt, especially in a car designed to go fast, but that's sad to hear anyway.

Both my brother and I, separate incidents, are alive because we were wearing our seatbelts. If you're riding with me, you are wearing your seatbelt. I personally view this incident as part of the darwin effect and we can be thankful that this person removed themselves from the gene pool and did so without harming someone innocent. Sorry I know thats a very cold statement but I stand by it.

Spotted a Gray 370Z on 95 around 6-6:30 near the caton ave exit. It was tinted and had a 3 letter plate but could make out what it was. You followed me from me for a while and I blinked at you before I took my exit on 695. I was the black 350 with exhaust.

Masa 01-19-2012 06:28 PM

Spotted a black 370Z today at the intersection of Kenilworth Ave. and 410 (Riverdale). I was stopped at the Boston Market waiting to make a left turn.

Pretty sure that was easwest lol, I was in my white Altima. :)

Hi Doug :hello:

Just to let you know, I don't think many (or any) people are planning on going to Fair Lakes this Saturday because of the whether. Didn't want you to go out there and wonder why there's no one else there.

Welcome, Doug!

Like b1ades said, due to the weather I don't think anyone is going to be at the Fairfax meet this weekend.

Hi! This morning I found out it snowed haha, I couldn't go to the meet this morning, I found out I had to work at PTUNING to clean and clear out the huge warehouse before the lease end of this month. The drive is pretty scary especially frozen icy roads. :shakes head:

He is accurate on the weather forecast. I didn't expect frozen icy covered the car. :icon14:

Hey Cristobal09, I haven't seen silver 370 for alignment. I usually work on Monday and Friday. Do you remember which day you had your alignment? Is the color of your vehicle light silver? That the color on the Z I have. :)
