Spotted a 40th Anni cruising down 175 right near 32 today. He was rocking the Nissan OEM foglights. Gave him a wave but I saw him so late he may have missed it anyway...

Spotted (or rather he spotted me) a PG Z w/sport pkg on Oceanview about 40 mins ago. Looked pretty much identical to mine in fact! :tiphat: He flashed his brights at me and I returned the gesture. 1st time ive seen one the same color as mine with the sport package. I noted where he turned in and on my way home from the store drove by his place and revved a little bit so he could hear some of Tony's (Fast Intention's Tony) handiwork and headed home. Hope I didn't freak him out, but I'd never seen one just like mine was from the factory before!

If you want pure performance and are going to track hardcore, LSD is probably better. If you want small hp bump and great sound, exhaust is your winner.

So, Im finally starting to figure out what I wanna do with my Z, I wanna go the performance route, so I know what kinda springs I want, due to peer pressure, lol..

Any thoughts on a good exhaust, but one thats not gonna rape me on cost?

Three come into mind. On the more expensive side you have Berk and Fast Intentions (+15 ~ 18hp) for around $1200 - $1400 new. On the other end of the spectrum you have the Invidia Gemini (~12hp) for around $900 new.

Darren (Trooper) had the Invidia Gemini + Berk HFC combo on his Nismo before he sold out trade it in for his Passion Wagon. Theres a couple clips of it on youtube.

Honestly, try to find a good deal on a used one. That way you get all the performance and quality for a significantly reduced cost. I've done that with all my performance mods and it has worked out great. Saved like $1k in costs for intake and exhaust plus the cost of the installs thanks to Steve and Kirk.
