Please buy a water resistant car cover.

My OCD is going crazy.

:icon18:

I do and I'm just used to it by now. I used to wash my Z like every week, but then eventually just got tired of doing that. Now I do it like maybe once every month or two. It's been my DD for the last 2.5 years and I've just accepted that sh1t is gonna happen to it. It's just easier not to worry about it.

If all goes as planned though, I will have a house with a garage by the beginning of next year. Then I can keep it nice and clean in the garage.

Do you jump out of your car at stop lights and detail other Zs around you that aren't as clean as yours? If so, I'll find you and follow you down Rt.7 at rush hour. Clean by the time I get home! :driving:

Put it this way: I had dirt on my car FROM the car cover this morning while the car was parked in a garage and still went over it with detail spray before I left for work.

That is not an exaggeration.

I don't think I'd get that way with any car I'd own in the future, even an exotic. Obviously I'd care for it a lot more than my Z, but I wouldn't be that OCD about it.

I am unbalanced and freely admit it when it comes to that car.

Yeah it's cool, everyone's different. I used to care like that back when I bought my Maxima brand new in 2010. Then we got those huge blizzards and it got totaled after 4 months. Stopped caring obsessively after that. :p

I have to admit, your car looks pretty d@mn good! And I saw it before you had it re-sprayed! Mine is not to bad now, and I think I'll have a good bit of it re-sprayed at D&V when I replace the front bumper.

Keep it looking good!

I saw the Nismo on 228 again yesterday afternoon! It's a she and she was turning onto 210 at the time. I saw her eyeing my Z as I passed by, but couldn't wave because tinted windows.

Something makes me think she's not on the site.

dmhenderson 05-24-2013 07:12 AM

It's because A) she's a girl and B) there are like 3 here and we know all of them.

:iagree:

I hope I run into her while out and about in the 'Dorf and get a chance to tell her about our humble establishment. :P

Spotted a bone stock silver touring this morning on my way to work on 450 headed towards D.C.

Didn't get a chance to wave as I had to make a right turn and they kept going forward.

OK, that sounds terrible. I'd be so worried about swirls from both a dirty car cover and then spray detailing the car with dirt on it from said car cover.

New microfibers + that adams stuff and a soft rubber squeegee
