Negative on a larger issue. Known issue with the CSC, just like the steering lock issue. You should be fine now that it's been replaced.

Thank god. I mean hypothetically, a slipping clutch COULD cause the fluid to overheat and make the CSC spring a leak. Was hoping someone would say exactly what you just said.

I'll road test in 4th gear anyway just to be safe.

Hell no with a stock clutch. Lol. But it's not an after market slave cylinder.

OEM CSC is known to fail when paired with a pressure plate that requires more bearing load to release than the OEM pressure plate.

Road tested the car up and down 270 in 4th and 5th (mid power band, floor it, repeat) and no slippage.

Looks like I'm good to go again.

Great, saw your car there today

dmhenderson 04-11-2013 06:53 PM

It's looking pretty slick since the clay/ultra detail treatment I gave it this weekend.

Do you work there or something? How/why are you always there?

chieuxuan 04-11-2013 08:09 PM

Because my uncle dropped his for service, so picked him up and we went for lunch then dropped him off and saw yours parked outside. I went in and bought me a nose bra and came out, you were gone. I believe you saw my Honda parked next to yours with my father and my son there

I didn't. I saw the guy who manages the car wash on 355/118 in there while I was picking up but I was kinda in a hurry. My boss is was in town and I had to get back to the workshop I was in.

(Didn't stop me from leaving to get the Z though)
