Some people put them inside the engine bay. Some people sit them next to the car on a sandwich board sign or resting on the bumper. There's no "right" way to do it.

found a nail in my tire last night, its not leaking air so far and its in the tread so I'm probably okay but without a spare tire that will actually fit I think I'm going to sit this one out. Murphy and I are close friends...
