Nissan370 12-26-2012 10:27 PM

i dont get it i would never drive this kinda car in snow. if your going to get a sports car then why not get a second car for this kinda weather

even if you dont crash into some one they could crash into u

TreeSemdyZee 12-26-2012 10:52 PM

Driven mine in the snow for three years. Used to be ALL cars were rear-wheel drive.

MyKindaGuise 12-26-2012 11:46 PM

I drove mine today through 2 inches. I didn't like it at all but I don't have a DD...that's changing in a week or two though sadly not quick enough. People really just need to be more careful. My buddy had some guy in an STI go flying by him at 60-80 in the snow and about a mile down the road that STI was on its roof..

eastwest2300 12-27-2012 09:35 AM

hahaha... brother I bought a OBD2 reader last night, and hopefully on Sunday I'll get to look into my CEL codes.

b1adesofcha0s 12-27-2012 09:45 AM

It's not really a big deal if you have the proper tires and drive carefully. Snow was pretty much melted by the time I drove my Z home yesterday.

eastwest2300 12-27-2012 10:39 AM

My Z will see no snow.. haha

That guy in the STI is an idiot.

I drove my STI at around 60-80 yesterday, and it did just fine :rofl2:

Depending on the conditions that is possible and not too dangerous but this was around 1-2 o clock there was a flat two inches of snow that wasn't even really driven on. There wasn't a way to be safe about it.

So you should buy a car that you enjoy less 9 months out of every year instead because of the 3 months out of every year that you can't drive super fast. :stirthepot:

Maybe... maybe not. Managing finances is a whole can of worms we don't want to delve into, and everyone has different goals/priorities when it comes to cars.

Wait, don't you drive two RWD performance cars and/or a bike?

chieuxuan 12-27-2012 11:54 AM

nah, I am keeping mileage low so I can trade her in when the new NSX arrives :tiphat::hello: btw, I can't even drive fast anymore because I haven't made the thing to block oil cooler :shakes head:

I use to ride a crotch rocket, I gave it up about a year ago. You're right about finances, I think I've done very well with mine, I've always been really good budgeting money. I kinda wish I would went to school for that, I could of been an accountant or something.

:owned:

If I had a couple thousand bucks for a beater, I'd most likely get rid of the Z and buy a better car.....but still end up with just one performance car that I DD.

I'd consider getting rid of the Honda S2000 for the NSX.

He's been plotting an upgrade since he got it. Once he trades for an upgrade, he'll plan for upgrading that.

Until "a vent, a door"

This. Every time I drive a car that's faster than the Z I get the urge to get rid of it. I drove my friend's M5 a couple months ago, that thing was a beast! :yum:

Really? Why are you hating on the M5 now? That V10 with an exhaust just sounds so nice.

I almost traded the TL in back 06 for that. That V10 is no joke

b1adesofcha0s 12-27-2012 12:49 PM

I'd look into getting a used one if maintenance costs weren't so damn high on it. Since it's an M car the costs are even higher for everything.

chieuxuan 12-27-2012 12:54 PM

everything on M sir :shakes head:
