I just went out to the car to see if there was anything special about these illuminated plates. Mine came installed from the dealer but I like to rip stuff

I just went out to the car to see if there was anything special about these illuminated plates. Mine came installed from the dealer but I like to rip stuff apart anyway. The heat helps but all you have to do is start with the inside floor piece, the long one in the middle and get your fingers under it. Start to pull it up and it will pop out. The heat outside helps right now. The forward piece may have to come out to locate the plug if it's not right there. Other than that plug and play, man. Apparantly my dealer went overboard and 3M taped my kick plate to the body. It's not coming out in one piece.
