Someone should bring bottled water or soda too for those of us that don't drink.
|
I can always give away one of my "brings" - just took both because i want vodka for sure and can bring good wings.
If we get enough people to volunteer I'll give one away. Esp if we're capping this at 8 people. |

Remember the Rubber Butyl (sealant) It looks like a tube of caulk, you need a caulking gun to use it.

Hey guys I was at a meet tonight and talked with some folks who have done this already and are in the autobody industry. Im not going to lie. I think I may wait for my paint job. The paint needs around 12 hours of air drying time for all moisture to evaporate. If you dont wait you run a serious risk of of having sealing issues or moisture in your light. Do you guys plan on leaving them sit for 6-8 once we have them apart and painted? Because I would be okay with that. I think regardless I am going down to atleast meet you all and help out I just dont know if it is my time yet.lol I can bring soda and water:tup:

My headlights are a great example of what happens when you put your paint lens back on while its still wet. I picked the most humid and rainy day to do this and literally after 2 hours of letting it sit, it was still wet to the touch. extremely unusual which bothered me. I got impatient and put it back together. All is well but you can tell the paint dried and evaporated inside the headlight. It's not that noticeable and I'm not super anal when it comes to things like that, again, the lens was still wet to the touch lol. In my eyes from far away it looks dope so be it! lol |

I got 40 bumper rivets coming, so anyone loses any, they can be replaced. That'll be my contribution.. Fellas, if any of yall can bring a heat gun, or your lady's hair dryer, bring them if you can, so we can quicken the paint drying process.
