Yeah I'll probably be back down to 195-200 come fall. I was around 185 in college when I cycled mostly, but my goal this time around is to get back to college weight with added muscle mass, so ultimately I think ~200 is where I'll end up.

Still better than the 234 I am at right now.

Which, of course, is better than the 251 I was at a month ago when I started this process. I'm pretty happy that I'm making progress. :)

Yeah. Thats pretty good!

At 41 and a multitude of injuries over the years, I've had to start getting away from the heavier weights and focus on strength training. I've been at 230lbs for almost 15 years. The lowest I ever got back down to was 210, but with my frame, I'd have work out way more than I have time for. :bowrofl:

:iagree::iagree:

I'm in the weight loss + building core strength process right now. Which will last a while. I think come the end of the year is when I'll be transitioning to the building/defining muscle and just working to maintain.

I was going to do that too, but after talking to a couple people I came to the conclusion that it would be better for me to just start trying to build muscle now. I had more of an issue with excess fat than weight. Putting on muscle should help reduce fat and take care of both problems for me at once. I think it's working out pretty well so far.

I just do both. I'm on a pretty strict diet of around 1650-1750 calories a day, only healthy stuff, and lots of working out. Weights 3x a week and cardio 5x a week.
