Had a lot of fun today at the cruise! Thanks again Randy for organizing and leading it. I've been driving the crap out of my car all day and night today. It's getting some well deserved rest now :icon17:

Jon I still want to see the video of the near wreck where the tree was in the road. That was crazy how close we got to getting hit.

had a good time - the weather was great - got stuck a few too many times behind the slowpokes

the storm the night before left us with a surprise or two... and forget parking at the waterfront in annapolis - should have known that.

My video editing software crapped out on me so it may be a bit but I'll get it posted up when I can fix it. You just hear someone's tires screeching (not mine) as I come up on the rear of your Cousin's 350Z. I recall mine chirping a bit though at the end.

Randy, many thanks for the planning and coordination. It takes someone who is willing and able and you certainly fit the bill. We all appreciate it. Had a great little cruise. Stopped at a small market on the way home and picked up some fresh picked white corn from Calvert County. Had it with dinner and it was awesome! Again, thanks!

Here is the video showing the moments before we all came up on the tree. Not sure who's brakes it was that we hear in the video although mine chirped just a bit but not much. Not that we haven't seen downed trees in the road before!

I'm pretty sure those were Talha's tires screeching in the video. I know mine weren't, because I braked pretty smoothly and didn't hear anything.

Speaking of which, you should talk to him about that - if he's following so close to someone on a fast cruise, enough that when braking his only escape is into the left lane? Something is wrong...I held back from him the entire second half of the cruise because he was being far too aggressive.

Cruises are a lot of fun until someone gets into an accident, and he was honestly worrying me a bit. That tree could have been really, really bad.

Oh lol the redneck.... he was like "WTF is going on, is there a convention going on in town?" and I said, no we're just a club cruising around... then his friend said "you should try to race them" and he said something like "with what? it'll just be like watching your hopes and dreams get crushed in your face"
