Altered Atmosphere

Edit: I had the 2.5" True Dual Exhaust installed yesterday. Here's a video of interior sounds and exterior. I didn't get as much exterior as I had hopped becuase it frikken started raining again! What happened to summer in the Mid-A? ;-)

This car is stock except for this exhaust. I'm still running the stock cats as well.

The interior almost sounds louder to me here than it does for real, but anyway here it is:

Tried to get ahold of them weeks back to purchase test pipe and install them. Took close to a week to get back to me so I went looking else where.
Not saying it's a bad shop,it just took to long to get back to me.

Yeah, I have yet to hear from them and I see they don't frequent this forum either to reply...

Makes me want to look for other options. Aren't they having some event tomorrow? They haven't even promoted that here very well...

Shift 06-05-2009 10:08 AM

I think there are, but not going due to a Company pinic.

Your right they must be very busy , or they don't care. The more you post the more, info about your shop will get out. I don't know much about them, but I just traded in two wheels for four. So I am feeling my way around as to who are the better shops in the area.

I went to the event on Saturday and they had at least 3 GT-R's and I saw a Turbo Supra in the shop getting upgrades. 2 of the GT-R drivers actually reside in Texas and brought their cars to Altered.

Jon @ Altered responded back to my requests in about a day....two days at the most. I'll be going back this Friday (16 June) and having them install Berk HFC's, Stillen Intake & Exhaust.

I'll let ya know how it goes, tooohip.

How did I miss this thread??? Toohip, Shift, everyone, I apologize for the lack of communication and inactivity here on the this forum. You're right, we have been QUITE busy with Nissan GT-R work, and we didn't have a shop 370Z until a few months back, and we're still just beginning production work for this car.

We had been getting so many inquires from GT-R customers, and we were being pressured to produce parts for that car, we weren't able to devote enough time and attention to develop product and service the 370Z platform. We're through with most of the GT-R development, so we've turned all of our attention and resources to the 370Z. Look for High Flow Cats, Test Pipes, Y-Pipe, Exhaust and ECU tuning to come out around Mid to Late Summer.

As far as inquires regarding service, please, send me a PM with any questions or concerns you may have, and I will do my best to respond to them in a timely fashion!

2theextreme-We will see you Friday! Looking forward to hearing that beast roar!

Edit: All-We're trying hard to stay on top of everything, but we have a pretty small staff here, so don't feel like we're ignoring you if we don't respond to questions right away. Remember, you guys can call us at anytime too, I am more than happy to talk to potential customers on the phone. And if you have time, stop by the shop and check us out, you'll be glad you did!

-Jon

I'll be there this Friday getting the True Duel Exhaust on my Z... Thanks for the reply Jon. I talked with Clint this past Friday and set up my appointment.

Just got back from AAM with their true dual exhaust installed. Sounds GREAT! Thanks Clint and the rest of the team! I had to light the tires up on the way home just because it sounded so good. :tiphat:

Do they have dyno #'s of their exhaust for the 370Z? I emailed them and got nothing back. I don't suppose you could get a video on here of how the car sounds doing a fly by or take off?
