I didn't dyno before or after, since I don't really care about the added HP. I will do a vid though fursure. ;-)

Don't worry. It makes a strange noise at high RPM.

Here ya go... I edited my original post with this as well...

The interior almost sounds louder to me here than it does for real, but anyway here it is (there's a lot of interior. The exterior stuff starts at 3:15):

LOL, will do. ;-) Yeah, no dyno, oh well...

Forgot to mention, they will do round or oval tips too.

Sounds great. Thanks for getting a video up so quick. Do you have the 6sp manual? If so, it seems like you rev through the RPM's quicker than stock for sure.

Yep, 6sp manual. Not sure I get through the gears quicker, I was short shifting just to simulate normal driving in that vid. ;-)

hey tooohip, I must have just missed you on Friday. I knew there was going to be another 370 coming in. I was just hanging out in the waiting room for my upgrades. Maybe you just dropped yours off and had a ride waiting? I was there from 8 AM until about 2 PM. It was so worth it! I love all the upgrades I've done so far and now I've read a thread that someone installed the Performance Lightweight Pulley and I think I have to get that installed now, too! So many install items and so little money....hahaha!

Altered was a great experience. I highly recommend those in the VA/DC/MD/PA area to check them out. Yes, like Jon stated they might be a small group but they do wonderful work!

Yeah, Clint told me you were there earlier. I was there about 3:30 PM and waited as well. Just missed ya! ;-)

I just posted this in the Mid-Atlantic section:

The Import Face-Off in Crofton......Altered had copies of the flier. Did you pick one up? Do you think you'll be going? If so, we should try to meet up and park our Z's next to each other!

Yeah, I'll head down to that... Let's talk as it get's closer and we can do that. It would be nice to finally hook up with another 370z owner in the area! ;-)

Do you mind me asking what the cost is on something like that? I'm not really worried about hp at the moment, just looking for sound.

I have never been into modifying cars before, but I've done a ton of mods on harleys. If you change out the exaust on a bike you also have to change out the air intake and reprogram the ECU. If you don't than you can run the risk of damaging the engine. Is this the same case with the Z?

I plan on attending the deal in Crofton as well.

tooohip 06-25-2009 10:44 AM

$1400 bucks including the install. I don't think there was an ECU reprograming though. Jon can you answer that question? As far as I know, it's not needed with an exhaust, but there's better folks here that can answer that. ;-)
