Fellas, ordered my FI exhaust today. Got the 18" resonators. Let the waiting begin!

Onelownismo 07-08-2014 09:37 AM

FI exhaust on the '14 nismo!?

Loving it.

Darketch 07-08-2014 05:03 PM

Is your exhaust resonated? It was a hard decision. I thought I settled on non, 12" and 18! I chose 18 but still am not sure. I want a deep note, but also loud!

Onelownismo 07-09-2014 09:20 AM

Mine is non-resonated! Wouldn't have it any other way. It might be too loud for you older guys though :icon17:

Is the cruise on saturday still happening? I have a friend coming into town and he might enjoy that.

Here's some more pics of the hit and run guys.

I'm posting it again because I wanted to get opinions on repair price.

My two options are paying the 500 bucks for deductible and just have it said and done, or wait a couple months and just get a new bumper painted. Would probably get the Zele kit, amuse is awesome but too many people go for it. Here's to hoping you guys got a hook up lol, don't really wanna drop the dough for the zele kit quite yet.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/10/ga8abe8a.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/10/vuhy5a7e.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/07/10/u9urugu2.jpg

Does your insurance company write you the check or give it straight to the repair shop? If they write it out to you I would pocket the cash and go buy the Zele bumper. If not just pay the deductible and get it fixed.

I have nationwide, they have always paid the repair shop directly. Unless someone knows a way that they get them to send a check instead.

Can you just have your repair shop replace the bumper with the Zele, and pay the cost above and beyond what the insurance company would pay for the stock bumper repair/replacement?

When I ran over the dead deer, USAA had me go to an adjuster to get a quote. They set the $amount - any unforeseen issues. I then got to choose where I wanted the work done. I believe if your company allows you, you could got to Tidewater Z to have it repaired with the bumper you want and believe tidewater Z would allow you to pay the difference out of pocket (assuming your custom bumper would be more expensive) Win-Win. Call the owner and run the plan buy him.

I didn't think of that, good idea. I guess I would have to ask the shop, nationwide is pretty hands off with me so far.

Tidewater Z can get you the parts but the fitment/body work and painting would have to be done some where else.
Tidewater Z is more about the mechanical side of the house.
