Y'all ever bought anything from another forum member? Wanna hit the button for the SS FI exhaust, but don't want to get ripped off. I have an order in for the CF non resonated in, but they still haven't even cashed my deposit. Gonna be a while...I want to hear my car now!

Mike and Mike, what are test pipes gonna do for me? I heard u can only do 3 mods that affect airflow without a tune. I'm only going to do 2 mods.....exhaust is 1. The other will be intakes or test pipes. (I think). Point is, I don't want to have to do a tune. Because I have a nismo aka different exhaust do I even count the FI exhaust as a mod point? Can I do CAI, test pipes and exhaust without a tune? Yes, I want to be loud and annoying.

Fascia is getting picked up in two weeks by someone else. I think you'll need the extra set of Nismo shocks/struts that I have on hand as well. $450 for both those and the pipes. That's a deal right there! :tiphat:

Test pipes will open up your exhaust and increase flow = more power and sound. I have never heard of the 3 mods thing. I have 4, no tune, no CELs, no issues, no worries. (Stillen Gen3 CAI, Motordyne M370 manifold, Motordyne ART test pipes, Stillen CBE) Now a tune will get the most out of your mods but no tune shouldn't hurt anything. The ECU with the stock tune will adjust a little to the mods.

You'll be fine without a tune, if anything it's probably running richer than it needs to be. So essentially you're not getting the most out of your mods without the tune but certainly not hurting the car. I have Z1 High flow cats, the FI exhaust, and Stillen Gen 3 CAI without a tune and I'm doing just fine for now.

I can't wait to get back...
