Weird, I never got a PM from you guys. I don't think I can do the group buy because of the timing either. I probably won't be getting my car tuned till the later half of this year.

Hey Blade,

This is Doug other user name DougChoe715 on this forum. We will probably do other group buy later in the future even anyone else is putting it off later in the Summer/Fall this year is perfectly understandable.

Hope one of our guys from PTUNING had answered your PM. Let me know if you
need hook up at PTUNING for alignment, install quotes, service.

I'm probably going to get my car tuned at Hill's Garage. They're only like 10 mins away from me vs 1 hr+ for PTUNING and they have a lot of experience tuning Z's. If I ever need anything from you guys, I will let you know :tiphat:

When I searched I saw the group buys with flash tune only for $500(30 minutes and your out the door), with options for +$150 more for custom tune + dyno. This group by was for the full package. I dont want them to just zap my car, I want a pro to tune it too. I do miss alot and may have missed something else going on in 2012, you should start a thread.

We have a highly skilled tuner at PTUNING that he done tune on most 350z/370z/G35/G37 as well. Up Rev isn't new to him because he will not stop tuning till he feel the vehicle have reach to the max for best tuning he can offer. Usually tuning session is longer than 30 mins, it take 2-4 hours or longer to perfect the tune, it given more time to tune such as cool-down break to let the engine cool down as the engine is turn off and turn back on for re-tune.

If there actually a vehicle that doing Up Rev tune upcoming week, I am more than welcome to have you watch our tuner during tuning session in the dyno room.

:hello: Just a few questions:

When a tune is done, how many and what types of maps are loaded?

And if there is an 'economy' tune loaded, is it done just based on a dyno @ 55mph, or is it based on a road test?

damn, I didn't know protuner shops even did these. From my experience the tuners want to get it on the dyno to make sure its perfect... Even if their profit isn't as high. Maybe its just a west coast thing tho IDK :bowrofl:

If you're going to do it you better do the full dyno tune, for $500 with no dyno you're better off getting Osiris standard direct from uprev with the etunes. At least then you get the cable.

Bump for a good price on a legit dyno tune tho :)

Shyt man thats a good deal! BUT its 348 miles and almost 7 hours of driving One Way! I would have to add in $150-$200 for gas at least(pemium is like 4.25/gal here, how much is it in NY?), before I even get in to food drinks, hotel rooms. I would end up way over($750-$850 depending on how cheap of a motel I can find). Plus I would rather pay my diposit to the shop 30 minutes away, with records and copys, and not a person I dont know and may not be able to track down,(no to mention if anything goes wrong with the car and I have to take it back for ANY reason, then my tune is going to cost me over a $1000). Thanks for the link and input! I did miss that one but I may have only searched MD and VA.
