Does anyone know the method of adhesion that is used? E.g., is the underside of the clear material coated with some type of glue? Or perhaps is it some type

E.g., is the underside of the clear material coated with some type of glue? Or perhaps is it some type of "cling" material that stays in place just because all of the air between the paint and the clear material has been removed? Thanks. Larry
